Let bygone be bygone? Then when you go to church, same old same old problem with people there. You want to get certain things done, they hold you back or ignore you.

THe best is to avoid those sections, that's what I do. I just go to cg that's all. Sometimes to sunday church.

Being forgiving does not mean you let ppl step over your head.

What it means is that you no longer have any qualms against the person.

You can meet him and feel okay. Lightweight feeling. I speak for myself as well.

that's not enough ymous biggrin.gif , what if the interviewer sick, or postponed your interview, or bukit bintang got another bomb and everybody schedule screwed up ? brows.gif

1. Pray that Lord guard your process to meet the interviewer.
2. Pray that Lord bless the meeting.
3. Pray that Lord bless the post-meeting paperwork.

Teach how to pray ? in essence just simply talk. Pour out your heart to Lord, Pour out your mind to Lord. the Chrisitian Lord is your Father, also fren, also King, also... last not least... GOD. But rest assures. He Loves you.

Now you probably asked how can my prayer last time got answered ? not because of wording, but many people pray for you. biggrin.gif

Here is my pray for you: u can copy-paste biggrin.gif
Dear Lord Jesus, kindly help ymous again.
Secure the process to the meeting point,
bless the meeting. Let a annoymous1234 say things that makes the interviewer has confidence in ymous.
and bless the post-process until ymous sign contract agreement with syarikat
In the Name of Jesus we prayed... Amen ! rclxm9.gif

The thing is, they won't meet you. I gone to church, and these people just give me a glimpse and don't say helo. I just go my separate way.

But there was one time, I deliberately pat the person hard on the back, then walk off not say hello. Well its a form of saying hello.
*
At least you have done your part, so also don't keep the bitterness or grudge in.

Didn't Jesus says to love your enemies?

Just let bygones be bygones.

Be at peace.

I mean, don't just because you have done all you can, and yet clench your fist at them for not responding the same way. biggrin.gif
You would have lost the cause of your effort. God knows isn't it? That's more important than people knowing.

Stop talking bad about them lor, move on in your life. biggrin.gif
Even if the next time you bump into them, just be at peace.

As long as God sees that you've done all you can, that should put some smile on your face.

where got prosper? These 20 people are too free to attend so many church if its true. I doubt they ever go to another cg, they just lazy to come.

Anyways, cgs got politics one, once they know you are a church hopper, you will not get layan.
*
i wrote proper lah, not prosper... biggrin.gif ... some cgs got politics one, cuz their focus is not frenship, but quota.

i assume you can "read" people, can't you ?

i can "read" or perhaps other word feel / sense whether the cell group is welcoming you or not. If welcome then have some fun lah... sow and reap ? sow frenship and reap frenship ?

1 church can have multiple CGs...

cell group welcome you on first day, but second and so on, they will go back to normal, the rest is up to you. You can read all you want, if you just walk into a cg, unassuming, you don't even know anyone there and you don't have a track record of attending that church, chances are, they will "read" you.

If you go there to just look for girlfriend, the leaders can read you from far far away. And you are not going to have a joyous time there.
*
correct..., indonesian big churches in indonesia pretty much do this when i scouted for girls hahaha, back 10 years ago...

after lesson learned, i just back at my "original church". Then up this point i prayed, depend on supernatual HS guidance, for me to find a CG that the leader are suitable for my profile. technically is like finding needle in haystack but with Christ there is nothing impossible.

To go inside the circle, you need to find somebody inside the circle to pull you into the inner circle, unless you wanna build your reputation (aka human toils).

same with human toils and GOD's grace. It's not human toils that makes you rich, but at some point, at some time, GOD's appointed time and person intercede with your path and you have breakthrough.

QUOTE(General Fahmy @ Nov 14 2014, 07:42 PM)
You talk as if HS is your guardian angel that will allow you to avoid pitfalls. HS is your counsellor and will minister to you but it doesn't mean your life will be plain sailing ok.

You will make mistakes, thats part of being human. You'll likely move to 5 or 6 different cgs and by the time you find the cg you want to be in, its time to multiply. Cgs don't last long, it may be fun, there's peer group fun but in 2 or 3 years the demographic make up of the cg will change.

Like my previous cg, it was fun at first, then something happened, one idiot guy tried to go after my host lady. The lady felt harrassed by him, decided to pull out her apartment from being the host site. The guy also left. Then infighting, the host lady's elder brother who is one of the assistant cg leader got bored of doingthe cg work, decided to move to another cg. THen another couple felt the cg wasn't offering what they seeked.

The cg reverted back to boredom.
*
i am sorry sometimes i wrote that implying like that. I have trained my mind to see pitfalls as opportunity. It hurts, but GOD's in control. easy to talk, but for the last 8 year i have been in malaysia it always troublesome. always trouble, but i choose to set my mind to see it differently, i see them as training ground / opportunity.

It does hurt and i did nagging and complaining with HS. but eventually, lives goes on. but day by day, same physical condition, renewed mindset.

not happy, but content, and still believe in most of prosperity teaching (i say most of, not 100% all), regardless economy like roller coaster.

You have a unique way of dealing with HS. To you HS is like your invisible friend. Though biblically, the scriptures never really indicated this.

it's scriptural. There is a song: i am a friend of God. Inside it has some scriptures.

I'm just kidding. hehe..

So you are saying that you are a liberal thinker, yes?

I'm sure some pastors frowned upon its church goers who do all of the above. So, when we are in church, do we pretend to be somebody that we are not so that people won't misjudge us?

I sure don't want to be like that coz I want to portray my true self and at the same time be wary of others lest they judge me for a harlot. sweat.gif

liberal thinker sounds like atheism to me hahaha... but i prefered you called me joseph prince follower lah, simpler. i do learn from joel osteen and many preacher that show same values.

when you go to church, try to go to church that you have insider contact, so you will not be alienated.

if you "shopping" for churches, it's better to pretend to be somebody. same like entering new office, keep it low profile. It's only temporary.

So today I attended a cell group, it was ok, a lot of seniors around. I was the youngest person there. lel.

Majority are married, only a few are not. So, we mingled and shared the Gospel. They seem to be quite friendly and so far very receptive to a newcomer. hehe..

I didn't notice any bald pastor / guy like "The General" mentioned here, so I'm safe. thumbup.gif

The awkward part was I was too dress-up for the occasion. But its ok, they are not going to condemn me. (yet) laugh.gif

The food was so nice! We got fried rice, sticky noodles, some roti canai and triple layer pumpkin spice pie for dessert. drool.gif

So far so good, I'm happy with that.

No, I don't mean it that way. Oh yeah, you like Joseph Prince, I remembered. He looks like he got botox or something.

Yeah, I am keeping a low profile, keep it cool and only talk when you are suppose to. Coz I talk a lot so I try to zip it especially in church, so many strangers.

I'm checking out who I can talk to and try to find an ally first. I need people in my team. So far none. lel.

I lost my best friend coz she's an atheist. Life moves on. So, yeah, I forgave her even though she broke my heart.

Um, yeah, when I'm in church and in cell group, I will try not to talk so much about worldly things unless they ask.

And I forgot that I got dragon tattoo on my ankle. Of course, the uncles and aunties asking me about it. doh.gif

Note to self, next Friday I will wear jeans instead.

I feel that going to church is like a job interview. Oh my, what if I say the darnest things? What if I offend somebody?
