Why is it being built at a snail's pace? Gahmen has no money? What if it becomes abandoned eventually.

I believe PR1MA must've sourced for different contractors and MRCB have them the most competitive price, along with the use of a select few equipment only to keep it at that price. No fancy construction equipment (or a few at most).

If they were to request to use the materials and equipment on par with private projects, for sure the pricing will go beyond RM 3XX,XXX.XX.

Yes, but whether or not it's gov't land is besides the point.

They want to provide affordable property, then be prepared to face a smaller construction team with a fraction of their construction equipment.
