read your fine prints T&C, whether shops has the rights to cancel order or update the pricing, and whether customers are allowed to cancel their orders if they are not willing to pay for the new pricing. many items are limited meaning you preordered or even paid fully doesn't guarantee you get the items.

Yes. I oledy check the T&C from the suppler i ordered hulkbuster and there is no such clause that they can increase the price due to currency change.

For those who miss out pre order for hulkbuster now toypanic is still taking order but at slightly higher price range.

Hmm.. maybe the rules have changed. But the last time I was taxed, I was definitely paying an exorbitant amount for the freight charges. I called up either Fedex or DHL about it (they had already paid for tax by the time they came to deliver it, so there was no nego-ing with customs), who then directed me to customs. From there I started digging around and found their table for determining the CIF, which they claimed was a international standard for charging the freight (though I wasn't able to find anything to that extent)

It seems that if you have an international parcel that is delivered via courier (Fedex/DHL) and the seller doesn't properly declare the shipping value (such as not separating the item and shipping value but instead lumping them together as one value), then the courier will declare or the customs will calculate (not sure which side does it) the shipping value based on a chart which they call Kos Tambang Dagang. And the Kos Tambang Dagang which they use is usually super high.

I see... I don't have the shipment label for it anymore, but I don't think courier prints the shipping amount on the label. I think it just said paid for by shipper (or something to that extent)

STGCC Iron Man Play Imaginative Super Alloy Collectibles showcase! We'll travel back to Singapore in 2013 to share with you their incredible figures, especially its 1/4 Scale figures!
The video also shows "To be released in 2014".... Play Imaginative (I believe) is a failed company...

So it's 2 years back..... "he maybe pulling your leg"

Hahaha BeastX just as I'm about to make ylchew77 sweat for missing out a whole "show floor" hehehehe... its STGCC 2013 laaa..... haha.. where IM Midas (GOLD) was the xclusive for HT.

Yup Play Imaginative is a Singaporean company came out hard, showing some really great i supposed near complete prototypes of all the armour 1-42! However I believe they too much to chew on their words as they coming out with not just 12" but 4" & 18" figures all in die-cast and could not handle the amount all at once and the company is in a pretty bad shape.. sad tho..

Anyways this is part 3 of the video and some of you may already have these figures in your possession by now!

Ya, really sad Playimaginative can't make it. Otherwise it will be a great competitor to Hot Toys as now HT price is more n more expensive.

I can't compare cos this is the 1st time i went for such event. But i felt the place is rather small cos it was too many people. Yes, it was heavily star wars themed due to the movie in Dec this year.

Anyway, i will make this as my annual event every year. It was fun to see so many toys display together, so many cosplayer and make fren with other collectors. Seeing with your own eye is big different u see the toys in the photo. Especially those toys you can't afford to buy. For me, it was worth to pay the ticket.
