Hi,

I'm kind of new to this hot toys. Just wan to ask anybody going to pre order the exclusive edition mark VII at mid valley? Do we have to pay deposit or full amount for the pre order? When this mark 7 is release, where we going to collect it?

Cheapest alternatives for HB (forget accuracy) is
a) Hasbro Titan series - though I don't see them around anymore
b) Lego smile.gif

I did some googling last time, and the cheapest movie accurate Hulkbuster is the statue from Kotobukiya, which is around RM 5XX I think.

The next one would be the Marvel Legends BAF Hulkbuster, which all 7 figures cost RM 6XX, where you get the HB and 7 other figurines. It's not to scale to anything as far as I know nor as accurate as the statue from Kotobukiya, but its at least a little articulated

Then there is the S.H. Figuarts HB, while it looks impressive and quite accurate, this hits the RM 1k+ range already. I think some local shops had it at PO between RM 1300 - RM 1600

Saw the King Arts HB on TFH, but not too familiar with the quality of their figures, so I can't judge it.

Then there is the HT's HB. At the time shops were taking PO for around RM 2.8k, EXCLUDING GST. Take into account our weakening exchange rate, I think this may enter the RM 3k+ range by the time it arrives.

Even the 1/12 Bat Deluxe which I ordered from HT was already RM 2.2k when I first ordered it. I am a little worried how much it will cost by the time it arrives (GST + FOREX)
*
Hi,

I also PO the HT hulkbuster. I thought when we pre order the item it mean we "lock" the price already. We still pay the same price when pre order (as agreed) even by then the exchange rate of RM is lower? the shop can't ask us to top up due to the different of exchange rate. Correct me if i'm wrong.

If the goods are received AFTER 1st April, even though PO already, GST should be charged. You may have bought from a smaller toy shop, so they're under RM500K p.a. sales, so you're lucky didn't get hit with GST. smile.gif
*
I think u fren didn't check probably b4 placed order. Most of the shop will indicate whether the price is included or excluded GST. Some shop price look lower but actually not yet include GST. So hv to be carefu.

read your fine prints T&C, whether shops has the rights to cancel order or update the pricing, and whether customers are allowed to cancel their orders if they are not willing to pay for the new pricing. many items are limited meaning you preordered or even paid fully doesn't guarantee you get the items.
*
Yes. I oledy check the T&C from the suppler i ordered hulkbuster and there is no such clause that they can increase the price due to currency change.

For those who miss out pre order for hulkbuster now toypanic is still taking order but at slightly higher price range.

Hahaha BeastX just as I'm about to make ylchew77 sweat for missing out a whole "show floor" hehehehe... its STGCC 2013 laaa..... haha.. where IM Midas (GOLD) was the xclusive for HT.

Yup Play Imaginative is a Singaporean company came out hard, showing some really great i supposed near complete prototypes of all the armour 1-42! However I believe they too much to chew on their words as they coming out with not just 12" but 4" & 18" figures all in die-cast and could not handle the amount all at once and the company is in a pretty bad shape.. sad tho..

Anyways this is part 3 of the video and some of you may already have these figures in your possession by now!

*
Lucky you r kidding with me. Otherwise i will be so regret if i miss out such display.

Ya, really sad Playimaginative can't make it. Otherwise it will be a great competitor to Hot Toys as now HT price is more n more expensive.

rclxms.gif  haha no worries.. but how was the display and showcase compared to this year stgcc 2015?? better than 2013? I know it has more of Star Wars themed... can't make it this year sadly..
*
I can't compare cos this is the 1st time i went for such event. But i felt the place is rather small cos it was too many people. Yes, it was heavily star wars themed due to the movie in Dec this year.

Anyway, i will make this as my annual event every year. It was fun to see so many toys display together, so many cosplayer and make fren with other collectors. Seeing with your own eye is big different u see the toys in the photo. Especially those toys you can't afford to buy. For me, it was worth to pay the ticket.

can see some of the figure price coming down.....
IM mark 43 1/6 also drop
*
Yup, agreed. iron man is not so popular as before after the movie iromman 3. Even the so called exclusive item is not so difficult to get compare to last time but it is still pricey. It is good sign for new comer if they wan to collect the old figure. Now many MIB ironman figure over flow in the market and nobody is buying. ha ha....

Based on XL's website:
War Machine Mark 3 - RM 1268
Iron Man Mark 46 (Power Pose) - RM 668
Batman Vs. Superman - Batman - RM 868

Seems like its more worth it to pre-order the War Machine Mark 1 die cast, considering the price and the fact that it has diecast parts, but that's just my opinion anyway
*
I dun really understand. Last time when i bought mark 3 die cast was less than RM1k. now this WM mk 3 is increase more than 30%.

by the way, any star wars fan here?

this CPO-3 and R2D2 also die cast? what make them so expensive?

now many hot toys got ready stock at shop, even those so call exclusive item.

now as previously, those with an exclusive stickers are hot cakes, u can't event buy if you didn't have certain channel. lolz
*
agreed. event those exclusive item. I think mainly due to too pricey. Each 1 cost more than 1k.

Even now 2nd hand market also very quiet. People post for months in FB still not able to sell it.

thanks bro.. too small for me though..

Yup. Ikea detolf is really too small if you hv many figure to put. Each level only can put 3 figures (I think 3 figures also too crowded). Unless u hv many space so u can buy 5 or 6 detolfs and display them in one row. that will be look great with LED. Another set back is the lowest level of detolf, u hv to squat down to hv a good look for the displayed figures. Otherwise most people will see the figures displayed at the top 2 level only.

If you got budget and space, custom cabinet still the best option.

Nice Display!! rclxms.gif

This is exactly wat i mean. Need to lift up the detolf in order to enjoy the view. If i display like you 8 detolf still not enough for me.

another problem i forget to mention is the detolf can't be lock. if ur house got small kid or got small kid visiting your house. that could be a nightmare for u.
