QUOTE(shaznizzle @ Sep 16 2015, 08:00 PM) Hahaha BeastX just as I'm about to make ylchew77 sweat for missing out a whole "show floor" hehehehe... its STGCC 2013 laaa..... haha.. where IM Midas (GOLD) was the xclusive for HT. do you have any info on the sagat figures and ryu figures, it was all blurry and could not make out the name on the company.Yup Play Imaginative is a Singaporean company came out hard, showing some really great i supposed near complete prototypes of all the armour 1-42! However I believe they too much to chew on their words as they coming out with not just 12" but 4" & 18" figures all in die-cast and could not handle the amount all at once and the company is in a pretty bad shape.. sad tho.. Anyways this is part 3 of the video and some of you may already have these figures in your possession by now! |

QUOTE(carpathia @ Oct 4 2015, 10:52 PM) Imagine if you are trying to collect the star wars series from hot toys.... say each RM800, around 20 figures...... ehm...ehm My interest only limited to Iron Man but even then.... so many suits. I just have one....Wanted to get the Hulkbuster but after watching Avengers: Age of Ultron, I think the Hulkbuster was such a let-down. They didn't even show Tony suiting up into the Hulkbuster. Still think Iron Man 1 was the best Iron Man movie. When he first suited up the Gantry, it gave me the chills.... |

QUOTE(shaznizzle @ Oct 5 2015, 05:06 PM) Gosh! Do you really have a lot of space for the figures? I usually collect books instead... One thing I don't like is that some of the figures tend to deteriorate over time. Not sure if it's the weather or what, but kinda sad, figures are not cheap and then after a few years, got damage... But seems like I play a lot more with my Iron Man figure than the books... Like the diecast material on my Mark 42 though, nice and cool to hold... |

Books take up more space when you lose count of them, they don't look like taking lots of space on the cabinet until you put them in boxes one day.One thing I don't like is that some of the figures tend to deteriorate over time. I always wrap up my books. Problem is once you do that you rarely gonna take them out & read. |

Yeah, our weather sucks for books as compared to the West. Some of the used books I got from overseas still look pretty brand new as compared to some 'new' books I have. It also depends on the book, if mass paperback they don't last all...Also Books are harder to maintain since they will turn brown & humidity can destroy them without chance of getting repaired. I always wrap up my books. Problem is once you do that you rarely gonna take them out & read. For the Hot Toys figures, I think getting at maximum 3 is good enough. Getting too many is probably a bit overindulgent and you don't really appreciate them as much once it gets overcrowded... Still looking for a villain to keep my MK42 company though.... |
