Hi guys, I just want to check does Hot Toys ever cancel production for what they have announced? If yes, what are the examples? How many they cancel before? Because 2015 catalog shows they already secured license for Metal Gear Solid V, but looking at their schedule now, looks like they wanna rush for Star Wars series. The schedule is so pack until Q3 2016, not sure if they still plan to produce Metal Gear Solid V or not.

A figure is only locked for production if a PO announcement is made.... till then anything can be cancelled, even figures with prototypes in toyfairs or catalogues...

the head sculpt is bang on now days.... but then again no one cares unlike the old days where the thread was active... Iron Man 3 killed the whole hype..
Those days the thrill of pre ordering a figure and the eager to wait until it's released...nowadays just does not have that feeling anymore...
Plus too many shops carrying Hottoys also lead to this imho...
Can see the thread is really quite dead recently...at least im still eagerly waiting for the 1/4 mark 43 (my first ironman), even more now that seeing the teaser of the upcoming release above. Wonder if it will release in dec for xmas or feb for cny .

hehe, i got my first Hot Toys Iron Man 1/6 scale mark 43 early last month.
plan to collect another 3 more different mark in future or war machine.
do you feel the iron man 3 stealth mode is a bit not nice in blue color ?
Congratulations!! I told myself when I got my 1st Hottoys I say just buy 1 and thats it... now got 10 figures... haiz... hahahah!
The blue its a classic color scheme shud get it for Iron Man fans! If you have the new die-cast of mark 3 you shud know how its like as its exactly the same just re-painted and instead of white light LEDs its red..

wow, 1/4 is so nice to collect, but i think if released on nov or dec, you can only get it on Jan 2016.

ya, i notice too is from Mark III, the original Mark III was good too.
let see the out come of Captain America : Civil War movie next year. Hope there is some different in War Machine.
maybe HT has reached it's saturation point. For me, it's the quality of the figure that turned me off. Sure if looks good at the start but after 1 year what happens? Ironman rubber parts turning pink, fake leather deteriorating ( example Predators), Captain America shield paint peel of ( orig Captain America) plus the prices are getting higher with the quality still being questionable.
