HI, I just got my 42AS610K. Seems like it causes inconvenience to me. It replaces my previous plasma tv.

Firstly, this smart tv claims that it can do screen mirroring. As soon as i got this tv, i try to do mirroring with my Samsung Note 2. In the end, it fails due to hardware issue. I ask the technician and the technician also not sure about it.

Secondly, this tv doesn't has a vga port. So i bought vga hdmi converter from Lazada so that my pc can connect to this tv (as my monitor). However, once i connect it to the tv, the screen is black! Hm...i call Lazada to ask whether the converter is not functioning, they told me that i need to configure the setting of the resolution. Is it true?? cos my previous plasma viera tv can auto detect it without doing any resolution configuration.

Anyone has any idea / solutions on my 2 issues?

I saw Panasonic 60a430 for rm3450 cash and carry, how is the quality of this TV? I understand that this is a non smart TV, but that's all I need. Appreciate the feedback, thank you.

Hi owners,
Need feedback from you guys. Have you encountered any issue with Plasma ST60K since you purchased it? Any issue with vertical lines, panel replacement, hdmi port issue and so forth?

Appreciate your feedback. Thanks

Just got a My Cloud Mirror. Planning to set up streaming movies from My Cloud to my Pana TV. Need a USB wifi for the connection.

Like to know which USB Wifi would you recommend and price.

Reliable or better stick with cable for speed and reliability?

Thanks.

Yesterday pana technician came over to my house and took my plasma st50 which is still under warranty coz got vertical line problem. The technician said it will take 1 week for repairing.

Since panasonic Plasma already EOL, do they replace my plasma with other model if they cannot repair my plasma?

Sometimes voltage recalibration using the service mode .. MAY fix it. However most ended up with panel replacement, a change in voltage output from the power board (dying power supply) can damaged the panel. Even powersupply replacement might require voltage outputs adjustments , on the power board based on the panel spec.

If they dont find out what is causing the damage even with a new panel it will eventually fail too just like the first one.

Hi Mea Culpa, I agreed with you thought. As I'm facing the same issue. My unit has the vertical line problem on last year September and repaired under the warranty. But recently same ST60 unit encountered same vertical line problem. Very unlucky, my warranty just expired. So can't do anything now, just leave it like that.

all ips panels are able to perform 178/178 degree view angle. the problem is NOT all panasonic come with ips lo.
what u can try is swipe finger in front of screen to verify it.
brightness test in showroom is not very useful, factory settings are inconsistence from batch to batch.

also u will notice certain panel cutting size only exclusive to ips (40 vs 42, 46 vs 47 etc..)

would be a great upgrade to my 42" Pana LCD TV for my living room. How much does the model cost at your place?

Saw it during jusco member day. If I remember correctly it's RM3799, minus free jusco vouchers, RM3499.

Mine from 1 line grew into 50++ lines in just few months. Just a heads up. Mine suffered twice. Currently on 3rd panel. If like what Mea Culpa mentioned, if they didn't do voltage callibration, means my 3rd panel will end up the same fate again as well sad.gif

Finally my 50A410 arrived. Play with it and very nice. The tuner is better than my JVC CRT. Loose HDMI connection will result to snow screen. Have to user a paper to stuck it and solve the problem thumbup.gif

I just got myself a 60A430k (IPS), to replace my smaller TH-P42V20K Plasma TV.

both full hd, color wise Plasma looks more nature, IPS is more colorful but not as natural as plasma do.

so far happy.
