Just got a My Cloud Mirror. Planning to set up streaming movies from My Cloud to my Pana TV. Need a USB wifi for the connection.

Like to know which USB Wifi would you recommend and price.

Reliable or better stick with cable for speed and reliability?

Thanks.

Need help.

Tried to hook up my laptop to my plasma TV using HDMI. Cannot get it to work. OK if it via the VGA cable.

What I did:
* connected the HDMI to TV & laptop
* set TV to HDMI channel 4 (spare, not used)
* set to external monitor on laptop
* changed different resolution on laptop
* nothing on TV

Please help! Thanks.

Thanks.

What changes I should try?

Saw in the web other people also having similar problem. But some can get it to work as shown in Youtube. I followed the youtube steps and still no success.

Found the cause of the problem!

Used the old HMDI cable connected on my WII. It worked!

So it was my faulty new HDMI cable I got as a gift when I bought my plasma?

Hooked up again using that cable. Did not work.

BUT after some slight twisting on plug to the tv, it works!

So, for those who have similar problem, just check the HDMI cable plug connections to the TV and laptop. A slight twist here and there. Be careful not to damage the plugs.

Finally!

Cheerio.

Like to have some feedback from those who are using Viera Cast.

Some of your good pointers?

If worthwhile, I may then hook up the cable to the web.

Thanks.

Hooked up my plasma TH-P50V20K to my DLink router via cable (my PC to the router).

Cannot get my PC display on the TV.

Tried this and that from web tips and still no success.

I thought it is plug and play, guess no.

Appreciate help from those who have set up PC-router-TV via cables.

Many thanks.

P/S I have tried HDMI from laptop to TV, success. But I want the cable set up from my PC.

Maybe now I should just use the old VGA cable. Ha.

Dont think they have 15 m HDMI cable, right? My old PC does not have HDMI.

But there are USB plug converter for HDMI.

FYI, managed to get my PC to TV streaming working now.

All was setup properly excpet the last step. Need to install and run the media player (DIVX) to establish the final link.

Disappointed that TV says file not supported for MP3 song and MP4 movie.

I have updated to the latest firmware.

Disappointing even MP3/4 files are not supported.

Any way to resolve this?

Thanks.

Bought a new Inspiron desktop with Window 10.

Pleasantly surprised to find a very good monitor picture adjustment software. For gamma, it shows 3 pictures of effects due to low, good and high settings. Same for brightness, contrast etc. So I adjusted till the I got the good ones.

I like it. Eg for brightness, adjust till one can see the white button on a white shirt. Now my PC monitor picture looks a lot better, like HDR picture. Ha.

So like to know whether there is a similar thing for Pana plasma tv.

Thanks.
