hello guyz i'm a student currently doing part time job... wanted to ask which company allows to register and open account for my case as normally they would only allow to open account for those who have company... for kangaroo they provide prepaid services...

my parcel would normally range from 2kg-20kg.... any advices?
*
Most courier will only accept registered company to open an account. Or if no company, they will need u to deposit some amount of money.

you'll have to call to the courier service near your area to ask because each area got different requirement. And Each courier company got different requirement.

If u are just a part time seller , I think just go to normal post office to post is enough. no need open acc.

They will keep in Post office for 14 days after the day they delivered. If u can use internet then u can try email them at : care@pos.com.my .. Ask them to re-attempt. U may wanna give them 1 of your family phone number so they can call them.

Post laptop is very risky. Most courier will not insure much. At most you can claim is Rm 100 only.

Poslaju usually takes 1-2 days and require signature upon receiving. Pos domestik, i believe is normal mail usually takes 4 days to 1 week.

The rate for poslaju is around RM6 (for first 500g) postage within peninsula malaysia. Seller charges you RM7 would be reasonable smile.gif coz they still have to do the packing.

Depending where are you posting. 5kg i presume its parcel. If postage within peninsula m'sia 5kg would cost RM26.00 exclude tax.

I am posting an iPad 2 out, which should weight around 1KG with all the shipping material...
How much would it cost if I send from JB to KL and is PosLaju reliable in this sense or should I go for the private couriers like Citylink or Skynet?
Appreciate the advice...

As far as i'm concern Poslaju does have insurance. Even if your postage is missing, you'll be able to claim it back from them based on the declared item value. So i presume its safe for postage smile.gif i've been using poslaju for more than 300 posting and so far all the post arrived without any problem.

Your case is kinda strange. Usually poslaju only takes at most 3 days to reached final delivery KK but yours are already more than that.

u can by yourself with or ithout box up to u.. poslaju do have free plastic bag but nowadays always out of stock. so better pack by yourself. make sure pack nicely.

the price is depend on weight so the price won't be different unless the box u use is heavier
