wanna ask please..

wat the different pos laju and pos demestik?

bought something from seller, instead using pos laju that agreed before but he used pos domestik

izzit the rate is same?

is the post office gonna call me if im not at home or the postmen just put the package in the mail box?
*
Poslaju usually takes 1-2 days and require signature upon receiving. Pos domestik, i believe is normal mail usually takes 4 days to 1 week.

thnx for info..so postmen just gonna drop the package if im not at home?

how about the rate...based on the web i dont know which one to look...i paid RM7 to the seller for poslaju service
*
The rate for poslaju is around RM6 (for first 500g) postage within peninsula malaysia. Seller charges you RM7 would be reasonable smile.gif coz they still have to do the packing.

How much postage fee when i send out 5KG Parcel?
*
Depending where are you posting. 5kg i presume its parcel. If postage within peninsula m'sia 5kg would cost RM26.00 exclude tax.

I am posting an iPad 2 out, which should weight around 1KG with all the shipping material...
How much would it cost if I send from JB to KL and is PosLaju reliable in this sense or should I go for the private couriers like Citylink or Skynet?
Appreciate the advice...
*
As far as i'm concern Poslaju does have insurance. Even if your postage is missing, you'll be able to claim it back from them based on the declared item value. So i presume its safe for postage smile.gif i've been using poslaju for more than 300 posting and so far all the post arrived without any problem.

Hi can anyone help me with this: I'm waiting for some items via poslaju and I tracked it on the site and it says;

02-Jun-2011 07:47 Item arrived at processing center
: PPL KOTA KINABALU
01-Jun-2011 08:58 Item arrived at processing center
: PPL KOTA KINABALU
28-May-2011 20:33 Item dispatch out from origin station
: PPL KUALA LUMPUR

do you guys know why it arrived 2 times and what's the processing center doing? it's been awhile and i'm worried my parcel won't reach me and it's my first time buying online somemore :-(
*
Your case is kinda strange. Usually poslaju only takes at most 3 days to reached final delivery KK but yours are already more than that.

Hi,

My seller sent the envelope/box (Pos Express) out on Thursday. Is it possible for it to delay till Monday? Anyone had this problem with P.E before?
*
Depends on the location of post and Saturday is replacement holiday for Pos Malaysia. It's possible to delay it to Monday.

Remember ask poslaju to stick the fragile sticker. It helps.

I forgot already XD ... u try go to see
Did they use the stamp? sometimes their computer got problems then they use stamp. Try track again later.
*
This is not normal. They should use computer to scan the consignment form or key the no. in the system if not you can't track it. In my area if system is down they don't accept any poslaju, paying bills, roadtax renewal and etc...

Hello. What is the nearest post office within Taylor's University Lakeside? Is it Sunway Pyramid one? Can I ask my friend to mail the parcel to the post office and I go self collect later? Thank you in advance.
*
I think nearest is SS 16 Subang Jaya (Carrefour). Poslaju will deliver to your doorstep. If you not at home they will leave a collection slip for you to collect at nearest poslaju office.

So to prevent them from counting using volumetric weight, it's better to use small box rite. Anyway.. Thanks a lot.. I will try to calculate it. biggrin.gif

Sometimes you'll get lucky if the staff lazy to measure. They'll use weight only.
