Went to QCD just now and the guy at the counter said its not launch yet in Malaysia and suggest me to try claim at Apple Singapore. Then I ask again can i claim this unit here once its officially launch here and he said yes but not in so positive tones i guess better wait and see when the time comes i'll try to ask again. scared if he changes from positive to negative later on. I've went to send my ipad2 over there once but they didnt accept because got small dent on my ipad n i tried to sent at Megan Avenue, they straight away sent my ipad to warranty. You go check Apple webpage la, this month end is Thailand, Apple will normally announce release that two weeks earlier, the soonest iphone 6 reaches malaysia will be end of Nov, he answered confidently." I walked away after that with a nod

But from my experience of "chasing iphone" since iphone 4, I don't quite remember Apple ever announce the release that before Telcos in Malaysia, every time we receive news from Telco first then Apple announce it.

As in this year, Telco in India announce their release that first, and then on 13 October, Apple then only confirmed it.

I am just curious, what make that fella answer me so confidently saying that iPhone will only reach at the end of Nov while all the Telcos announce it already and date also release by them, not social media speculation.

which i think its ridiculous because i receive the same tone (impatient) when i called up apple authorized service provider to ask about my iphone 5s (it was an aus set).

then i went and chat with apple online. they said they (apple authorized service provider) are REQUIRED to service me. so there you go, i printscreen it, went there (AASP) and gave them a good lecture. I was one step from asking their manager out for a debate. Sometimes those ignorant staffs are just plain

Why bother the promoter?
How many times you go to buy things and how often u ended up with promoter that doesn't seems to know anything and in some cases you'll need to teach him/her something that he should know!

For example, camera, IT stuffs, phones, etc.

Switch? Thats the AASP in the nearest area from my hometown (kedah). This truly explains their staffs are not all professionally trained.

Never trust those staff who work at Machine, Switch, etc, sometimes they know nut about product launching news, they work in those stores doesnt mean they always get updated with product info, in fact most of the time is opposite, this is from my personal experience..

If 7th release and you manage to get one, I suggest you go back to the store on the 8th or 9th.. and ask to take a photo of him.. Using your new iPhone..

i think staffs at machines, switch etc might have encountered hundreds of these questions everyday till they sienzzz lol

i been working part time for one of the retailer before. honestly, i dont think they have any clues when the stock are coming. and yea. almost every customer come in also ask , when iphone x release, ipad x release haha

wow good suggestion ... can ask him help me find some cases too and walk away after that
