I think it would quite ridiculous if they reject my application. My current credit limit is only 1.8 times my salary, and I have breached the CL limit a few times. I always pay all the balance every month.

Serious question. Why would you ever want to decrease your CL? Higher is better as it gives you more breathing space for costly purchases if you ever need to make one. If you are worried that you will spend more money due to your CL, then I would advise you against owning a credit card altogether. Stick to debit cards.

I managed to get my card within one hour, in Ground Floor, Menara Maybank (near Pudu Sentral) in KL.

I have cancelled my maybank2kad about 2-3 months ago. Can I re apply?

they also consider your commitment as well for the credit limit increase application.
My current credit limit is around 2x of my salary, and i also pay all the balance every month, but they still reject me.
I think MBB is quite strict in this, they will consider all your loan, all other banks cc credit limit....

because I accidentally missed the duedate twice and they didn't want to revise the rate anymore. So, I arranged full payment and cut the card. That's the reason. It probably bad move as well as I just do not use it for 12 months to reset the interest but that is way too long. I am thinking reapply would be a shorter one to get back 8.88%?

Er, why don't you try BT rather than the interest? 8.88% is still high though.

Because I sometime need credit as much as my credit limit for big purchases. That is why I can't BT as it will lock my credit. BT to other card? I dont have other card and dont need to. 2kad is just too good with its point.

I think setting the trigger amount for SMS to RM1 is sufficient to efficiently detect fraudulent usage.

I received SMS that the threshold amount for SMS alert is set to 0.

Can set to 0?

Saw the activate function. Should I activate here first after receiving the cards to use it?

i recommend u wait till the cards is in your hand...

cause even if the cards is lost to someone, the card is unusable.. unless u activate it
