QUOTE(barkatthem00n @ Feb 17 2015, 05:33 PM) Got an old Wira 1.5 Auto Sedan year 2000 Power window mechanism(regulator+motor) just buy halfcut one lah, taken from evo/lancer. Mudah.my got many runner sell. One door for like 60-70 ringgit. Individual switch new from spare part shop from rm20 onwards. Driver power window switch rm60 onwards. Then get silicone spray for power window and spray at the rubber where the window slide up and down. Good luck Recently wanted to makeover or replacing all old parts that are problematic and no longer working Just want to make it back to stock condition Been Googling wira power window issues.. seems no firm solution to it... so the question is Can the rear power windows be converted to "manual" ? There are 2 types of regulator, different for 1.3(thinner) and 1.5 wira doors Wira 1.5 rear left door regulator (bracket) plus manual turning handle Wira 1.5 rear right door regulator (bracket) plus manual turning handle Is there anything else to buy? Is the current mounting holes support these manual regulators? If anyone got experience, please help... Thinking of doing it during weekends Im able to open door trims, remove parts, just not sure if parts can be used before i buy it Wondering if alot of mod need to done, then i just skip this... Thanks |

You try lah, if solve your problem temporarily its your luck lah haha if not send overhaul and rent viva for 2 weeks
Yesterday hand itchy go open meter to replace handbrake indicator bulb and re-do the odometer stuck issue. Both problem is solved now but then my km/h meter already gila haha so slow the needle move up and down and inaccurate. I suspect the meter cable need replacement. Currently listing all the parts to buy, after finish my semester its time to fix all at one go. |

Very informative: TACRA BLOG However, the search box in that website sucks big time. I just use Google with "Tacra" included as the keywords. Been using his blog from the day i bought Wira haha yea very informative All my diy also refer to this page QUOTE(call me random @ Apr 12 2015, 05:32 PM) Google gip me the name to be exhaust muffler/silencer Not an expert about exhaust haha but if it solve the issue then job well done Correct or not? Pic is here [attachmentid=4408441] The brand is rimus.. I googled it gives more result on remus.. This one not good or what? The mech says it gets clogged over time n when shifting the gears it's like not going smoothly like jerking a bit (I tot it happens cos clutch release n gas pedal not balance). QUOTE(idono @ Apr 12 2015, 07:48 PM) sorry guys, how to do a compression test? @.@" Go workshopgot one mech last time suggest me to use back the ori tyre size, which is 13" Previously, the car was mod to 15 inch tyres. he said this is the big drawback for performance.. 13" rim isn't easy to find right? @@ thanks guy~ If fail compression test, something is wrong in your engine...overhaul If pass compression test only do repair list to bring back performance..spark plugs, distributor(mmc)/coil(for vdo), clean throttle body/carburetor , clean fuel injector, fuel filter etc.. Generally its true smaller rim more performance, the lighter the rims+tyre the more performance u get I just changed from 16inch wira se stock rim to 15 inch, the new rim is light compare to old rims but i dont feel noticeable different |
