Retain your drum brakes at the rear, just upgrade your existing front ones with better pads. Wira/Satria 1.6 brakes is the same as the 1.8
*
Good pads will also improve braking but if i change to 1.6/1.8 then it would be much better. if not mistaken bigger disc, bigger pads, and piston. Also its nice to see larger disc thumbup.gif

Already changed the brake to 1.6

RM770 for front 1.6 disc complete, service caliper and skim rotor, paint caliper to black and replace both hydraulic cylinder because it got leak.

Overall satisfied with the performance, more confidence thumbup.gif thumbup.gif That installer racun me to buy double layer servo..lol

If I change to double layer servo, will there be any space to remove the brake oil cap if I have front strut bar install?

Edit: who wants to buy my 1.5 brake complete can PM me...also letting go my wira SE carpet

GSR is 4G93T in mitsu terms
*
Ohh i see, all this while i thought GSR is 4g93 and GSRT is 4g93T tongue.gif

So actually my front brake is not from 1.6/1.8 but from GSR

1.6 and 1.8 as well as the GSR has the same rotor size of 256mm diameter
Just the GSR has a bigger single pot caliper. 1.6 and 1.8 Proton front brakes are the same.
*
How about the brake pad? Is it the same as the 1.6/1.8?

Same brake pad. I also changed mine to GSR front brake last year. Using Bendix Metal King Titanium brake pads now.
*
Alright thanks rclxms.gif cheapest I saw online RM100 for the pads
I'm so addicted to hard braking now, last time borrow my dad satria neo, the braking is also superb! Now almost have the same feeling
I ask a lot because i ask the shop for 1.6/1.8 brakes, but then when installing the caliper look bigger and have mitsu logo, then at receipt written Front GSR brake

4. Normal i think, mine 1.5 manual 11.5km/l 16inch stock se rims. For me lah, any car as long above 10km/l I happy already

Thank you Bro,

Thankfully it was only a 15 min drive from my place. I went there and the guy is really nice and friendly, he insisted to know the name of the person who recommended him to me  sweat.gif  whistling.gif

Anyways, his examination concluded that I will need to change the compressor claiming that fixing it will not do me good and is going to last for short time before it becomes problematic again .. He quoted me 5xx rm for recond one  rclxub.gif

Do I really have to change it ?? Could you or anyone with such an experience give some tips ??

Appreciate it smile.gif
*
500 just for recon compressor or include servicing? if the recon compressor only quite pricey i think for wira, usually range rm300+- with 1 to 3 month warranty

last time I change waja 4g18 compressor siap pasang rm600..compressor suzuki. Lagi pening, but damn worth every penny spent

edit: I am wira se owner, lately I have been studying wira se front suspension from google and I found out the suspension really special that its hard to decide which absorber to use and which springs is suitable so that the front will not go higher rclxub.gif Some got say front ARB connected to absorber, some say the ARB connect to lower arm. Anyone here got latest best set up for wira se?
I wonder if proton part center still sell SE stock spring and absorber
Cheat mode : use adjustable suspension biggrin.gif but i cant afford one

Change to double layer servo more syok hahahaha....
*
got shop to recommend me? I want with the servo fully service and change necessary rubber inside

Now my car first tekan brake pedal it goes haflway down only can feel the brake, lift of the pedal, tekan again second time slight touch already can feel the brake. Pomen said the master pump and servo weak already? rclxub.gif Also he suggest me to fully flush my brake fluid since because he said dust/sand already enter my brake system since both of my rear drum hydraulic cylinder was leaking.

btw, i wish to install front strut UR bar next week. How to know if it is ori and roughly how many rm? hmm.gif

I am more into mod the driveability rather than horsepower, coz i know 4g15 vdo very hard to increase power gain and pointless lol laugh.gif

Yup.. if the brake fluid is dirty and not changed every year then there might be rust or other particles inside the master pump becoming hardened when the car is not use for some time. Then when we use it that time the hardened dirt inside the master cylinder pump might break the rubber seal inside the pump.
*
Lesson learned smile.gif
I guess previous owner also same type like me no change brake fluid laugh.gif
