QUOTE(HuiChyr @ Apr 18 2015, 09:31 PM) CHECK YOU RUBBER GASKET for ENGINE OIL Woah good tektik to con I've been experimenting the direction the rubber gasket for the cap for the engine oil. I wanted to change it and the spare part shop guy told me to install in correct direction. Open up the cap and notice the smooth surface was facing up. This was causing my oil to leak out. So I turn it the other way (as per photo). Oil stop leaking. So guys ...make sure the gasket is installed correctly. My ex-mechanic ... Yes .. I dump the fella... purposely install backwards and try to convince to to overhaul. That bastard. I already let him do top overhaul ... wanna make twice the money. Mine also leak around the cap, have to check the gasket inside then Luckily never do rocker cover gasket replacement yet so hard to find honest mechanic now |

Learn my lesson today
If never change a fluid before, do not ever change it lol My clutch fluid is very dirty, full of rust and dust. Decide to bring to workshop to change. After change the pump fail lol. My guess is that before this all the rust and dust particles seals the leak. Now had to replace the secondary clutch pump. Rm70 gone lol |

True also, at least now it working as it should. I rather pay rm70 to hv my clutch work properly ler ... QUOTE(call me random @ Apr 21 2015, 03:28 PM) So the real lesson now is if long time never change, standby cash to change pump incase its fail together haha Last time my brake pump also like this, after flush and refill fresh brake fluid, the master pump slowly fails |

QUOTE(rcracer @ Apr 21 2015, 05:01 PM) same with oil filters, always wipe a thin coat of oil on the seal before tightening so that when the rubber start to contact the metal, it will slide smoothly until fully compressed, if not it will stick to the metal and tear. edit: re-check the pictures, you;re right the ridges should face out if there are ridges but still apply oil on it, mine i bought has no ridges just plain flat rubber and it works Already bought new one, cost rm5.30 incl GST Old one is hardened, replace and clean the area surrounding. Let see if there will be any oil at the rocker cover after a week |

QUOTE(Deathscythe@@ @ May 19 2015, 12:53 PM) Most spare part shop got sellif u use 4g13/4g15 no airflow sensor, the sensor on the intake hose is air temperature sensor. Try change speedometer sensor, this sensor 2nd famous besides oxygen sensor lol if u use 4g9x series engine, got mass air flow sensor. Only use mass air flow sensor cleaner to clean this sensor |
