Installed the new OTA updates earlier (zenfone 5 lte) and like the memory cleaner button in the dropdown shortcut! other then that didnt notice anything except another apps installed which is for data transfer or something lol

any chances i can access my 2.5" external hdd with usb otg cable?
tried b4 but can't be detected..most probably not enough power....
btw i'm on zen6...done KK 4.4.2 last night..
not much complaint except quick setting icon for gps gone..maybe replaced by location icon tab

OTG does not support external HDD.
It doesn't supp too large file and does not enough power to spin the mechanical dics of the HDD

Hello just wanna ask sumthing, can i know why my keyboard on zenfone 5 doesnt appear after the system update? I cant type anything bcause dont have keyboard.

download third party keyboard. Log in from browser to playstore, use that to push to your phone.

actually wanna get it for my father.

mostly using for call & sms..no data..

but at home will using 99999999 wifi

youtube/web browsing.

btw zenfone 5 is 5" right? easy to read when browsing article or whatever.

Yeah 5 inch.. both my parents are using zf6 which is a 6 incher..

I've to agree, finally able to root my ZF6 and now no more battery drain when Location is On.

H+ I think, it won't show 3G or LTE. Someone posted a link here in the old explaining when I was asking about it, too. Haha.

BTW. What are the changes made after the System Update? I don't see anything difference other than the Locked Screen? Model No: ASUS_T00P

hahaha ... i found my issue ... my micro sim is on 32K .. so need to go to maxis to change it again to 128K ... ( i have change it when getting my zf 5 but maxis center give me normal sim )

that's y ... can't see /get 4g signal ...

Do a speedtest and see the results.

Other smartphone that has snapdragon/mediatek is way more customizable than Zenfone. They have a lot of custom roms that really take Android to the next level.

i agree..the performace after root really good but it lack custom roms because we are using intel..
