there are simply too many variants with Android, haha, even for Z5, i'm so confuse with it also...

in Settings > About, it only show the firmware versions, but how do i know what kinda hardware that i have in the phone? can i see if it's using intel or anything else?

downloaded and installed CPU-Z, and when i run the app, it showed me ARM Cortex-A7? what's that? i'm using Zenfone 5 LTE

I'm only using Battery Doctor on Nexus 7, and I noticed that it tends to pop up some spam and ads, occasionally.

morning; 98% battery. after 2 hours running without using app tracker, sound muted; > 70% battery. OMG, just realize this, and it drops faster than my iPhone 4!

Few days ago, I posted about the poor battery performance of my Zen5. What I did after that; I set the Weather Update Frequency to Manual (how do I disable this Weather app from the Locked Screen?), I disabled 95% of the automated Notifications on apps, disabled Auto-Sync entirely on Quick Settings, and set the Brightness to 50% only unless I'm outdoor. So far, I notice the battery performance has improved a lot, but still too early to say and I sure hope it'll continue to be better? Hehe. Just my 2 cents.

yes, that is what tempered glass is supposed to do, i guess? seen it before, a few times. i got mine for Z5 at this shop in LowYat, nearby to the Garmin booth at ground floor, about RM30, i think? slightly thicker, but as long as it do it's job, i'm fine with it

Anyway. Successfully upgraded my Zenfone 5 to Android L. One thing I noticed is that I can't control Spotify from Locked Screen? Example; I'm playing Spotify, and I wanted to forward/backward a track, or pause from Locked Screen, it don't work at all. Anyone encounter this issue?

Tried the Notifications settings to enable all as in Spotify and Android forum, but it still doesn't work at all.

I'm on LRX21.WW.12.4.5.22

Yup. Successfully updated my Z5 to Lollipop; still getting myself to familiarize with the interface and functions, though. Spotify doesn't work on Locked Screen. I like the Notifications of WhatsApp, Messenger and others on Locked Screen. Weather app was okay, too. ETA of Charging Time can be useful, but never really stress test on the battery life. In a way, on Google Launcher, it feels a little sluggish, sometimes... But no big issue la, so far.


Only annoying part is the Google Search Bar on top of the screen, unless I change to other Launcher, I guess. Any other attempt to remove it failed.
