i've tested with 16gb thumbdrive..but what is max capacity of external does it support?

btw is there any cable/adapter selling out there?
i intend to connect it with my thumbdrive or external hardisk

try resit back ur sim,coz sometimes the sim slip out from the slot especially if micro sim is manually cut..

haiya..i've tried b4 manual update...
i download FW kitkat ww version same as phone version
but halfway upgrade got error..update fail... got android robo pic collapse hehehe
luckily system restored back to ori state....

any chances i can access my 2.5" external hdd with usb otg cable?
tried b4 but can't be detected..most probably not enough power....
btw i'm on zen6...done KK 4.4.2 last night..
not much complaint except quick setting icon for gps gone..maybe replaced by location icon tab

got 2 variant of zenfone 6 in Malaysia market,and even quite many retailer are not fully aware of this
the only difference is the cpu:
1. Intel Atom Z2580 2.0GHz A600CG (~rm900)
2. Intel Atom Z2560 1.6Ghz A601CG (~rm799) eventhough Asus Malaysia release price is rm699
ASUS ZenFone 6 (A601CG)

whether retailers aware of these variant or not,some selling A601CG 1.6GHz with rm900 price tag
(and claimed these 2 variant selling with same price)...
it's like ur selling MyVI 1.0 vs 1.3 with same price and for sure people will go for 1.3 variant

i'm telling this bcoz i bought A601CG for ~rm900++ price tag....what a d*mbsh*t....
also i own A600CG 2.0GHz zen6....

so far mine on KK no problem, zen6
ori set updated OTA to KK
ap set updated manually to KK
both rock solid on KK

if ori set u can direct update thru OTA method
if AP set u must download 1st latest firmware with same SKU....
then unzip the zip file,...then inside folder got 1 zip file...
then connect usb cable
just copy paste onto ur phone that zip file...
detach usb cable..then u'll see a notiication on update....

*download firmware from lower version to higher version step by step
dunnot jump onto Kitkat unless ur on Version V1.18.40.12

go to settings>device>Apps>running tab
can see at the bottom left used ram and bottom right free ram

Zenfone 6 root how to
but in the end i didn't receive any notification on "successful" root...
but i think i successfully root this zen6 coz now i have full access into wakelock detector app

so any sifu here can teach me on how to double confirm my root is successful...
for now i root just for fun bcoz quite bored 2nite

done with much of tq brah...

so i tried no-frills cpu control...zen6 min clock only 800MHz
any possible to downclock it likesay 384MHz

i got both ap and ori malaysia set...
tbh both are the same just ap set comes without earpiece...thats all
