MX4 quite irresistible. true octa core. i wud prefer 3 to 2gb ram which gives the flexibility. 5.36" is quite good if the size dimensionally is marginally smaller than 1+ but the rounded corner very cliche, iphonic...prefer 1+ design, 'more elegant' and the chrome edges r not very samsung . Best is cynogen backed.

Eventhough they not using snapdragon more prowess processor but mediatek yet the octacore can hit antutu so high yet the battery will be significantly lasting than 1+ ; more efficient n intelligent octacore technology, 5.36 lcd, and MTK is a more energy saving processor...

I have used a 5" 4000mah battery before...that phone can last 1.5 days easily....meaning, from mon 10am - tues 12noon no problem...but i believe everyone is not gonna leave home with the battery remaining 50% would you? I will still charge full it...just saying pursuit of battery will reach a saturation point somehow...

The new processor, camera, price and those who aggressively pursuing everlasting battery will consider it

Mx4 will be my next phone to replace Oneplus as primary phone, and I'll use Oneplus as a secondary phone for gaming and travelling. Easier to hold and better camera, while Oneplus will be better for gaming. If I have some spare time I'll do a review comparison smile.gif

I tested the camera today, using RAW and also the FV-5 app. I can definitely say that using RAW has so many advantages for PP purposes. I like that the RAW format that is used is DNG as many editing software can be used to edit this type of file. So if you feel like the shot that you are about to take is something that you would want to cherish later, use RAW and you will be surprised with how much editing you can do compared to JPG. But if it is just a normal snapshot, use of JPG is enough as the RAW file is really huge, around 15MB per file.

I also tried comparing the shot from the stock camera with FV-5. I can see that the stock camera has better exposure control but FV-5 has better auto white balance.

EXIF for both shots:

8s
Matrix metering
AWB
ISO 200.

You can have a look at the shots here

https://imgur.com/a/41714

1st - RAW to JPG convert. No editing
2nd - RAW to JPG convert. Minor editing with exposure and contrast. Minor sharpening.
3rd - JPG SOOC from stock camera.
4th - JPG SOOC from FV-5

Type:
Non flip. Dual layer: TPU case with outer polycarbonate outer shell

TPU:
Almost similar feel with the Diztronic case.
Much thicker and sturdier than Diztronic case.
Most noticeable at the top and bottom part of the casing, whereby the holes at the top and bottom parts are deeper.
Similar holes placement as the Diztronic case.

Polycarbonate Outer Shell:
The red case is glossy, while the grey case in less glossy.
Both provide good grip, much better grip than Diztronic case.
Very prone to scratches due to its material. But then again, that’s the function of a case;  to protect the device.

Buttons:
Somehow its weird,  on the red case, it is kind of hard to press both power and volume buttons. But on the grey case, it is much easier to press the said buttons.
On the grey case, the click feel is still there when the buttons are pressed. But on the red case, it doesn’t.

Overall:
This case is a better case than Diztronic case. With Diztronic case, while using the device on single hand, I always place my little finger on the bottom part of the device to avoid it to slip. But with the TUDIA Cygen case, the polycarbonate outer shell provides good grip over the palm and it makes me feels safer operating the device on single hand mode, and I didn’t feel the need to place my little finger on the bottom part of the device anymore.

Due to the thicker TPU, this case feels a bit taller by a few millimeters.  Due to the thicker TPU plus the polycarbonate outer shell, the edges part of the case (front part) are less prone to move and stretch out whenever taking the case out from pocket. Diztronic case user will definitely notice this, as with Diztronic case, the edge parts are prone to move and stretches out when pulling the device out from pocket.

Raised edges to protect the front screen from scratches when the device is placed face down. This is similar to Diztronic case. The edges cover all the chrome parts at the front of the device.

Rating:
4.5 out of 5.
The best case available in the market compared to Diztronic and Ringke for OPO.

It's finally the weekend woooo taobao cases arriving in a few days thumbup.gif

Anyways, don't really see any change in battery performance after few days of 38R. Today never use data at all, with occasional data I get like 4hr40mins heh.

thanks for the reply earlier, guys.

Important question, gonna get my OPO on Saturday, today.

Wanna know which shop has best after sales reliability, if possible want the pricing to be affordable also, 64GB.

Is Liquipel necessary? If so how much more do I need to pay for dialoghub?

Currently considering the current shops:

Seven Mobile, Old Klang Road.
DialogHub, Subang.
iDistribution or something, Low Yat Plaza
Teramac

what are the things I need to check ASAP to ensure got no manufacturer defect other than yellow banding?

And lastly, I see SatuGadget saying that their OPO are with CM 11, not CM11S, why is that? While waiting for reply I shall refer back to first post, thanks ah!

cm11 is the common cm while cm11s is the OS meant for oneplus one, those ap set are flashed with cm11s, those staff in ap shop mostly dunno anything about phones, just purely do sales only

from the list, i will say go for seven mobile or dialoghub depends on your location and price they offer, liquipel isn't necessary but it's up to u

hey man, any ideas on the feedback of the warranty services provided by dialog and seven?

Also wondering if any shop would trade in internally faulty M7 or not. doh.gif

Almost same here. My first smartphone was the Sensation. But only for 3 months. Then use S 2. For 4 months. Then Galaxy Nexus, for 8 months. Then the screen broke and change to Nexus 4 for 15 months. Which is the longest. Then Mi 3 for 45 days. Then now OnePlus One. Hope to use this phone as long as possible due to near stock android UI. =)
