I got the 38R ota.
Upon installation, I get the following error as this ...

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Any idea how can I fix this?

Mine 1+ is stock.
Done nothing.

Apparently the OTA update got stuck cos the phone does not where the zip file is.

What I did was...
At that screen, I chose APPLY UPDATE
then I manually locate where the OTA downloaded that cm-bacon-3628510d76-to-......-signed.zip file in the phone.
Mine was under the folder /Android/data/com.cyngn.fota/cache/
Point there and my installation went smoothly!

Busy busy weekday until don't really have time to play with my 1+ which translates to very got battery life though haha.

Anyone on custom ROMs such as MAHDI and PA? Do they accommodate for the hardware capacitive buttons of 1+1?

yo, went to seven today, the guy took the phone and did some stuff with it, connected to the PC, not sure what he did, saw some Chinese green software thingy filled with coding lines. Then when get back my phone is running on XNPH33R or something, came home and found got OTA update to 38R, updated it. So far nice, the phone will go to sleep, interested to see how's the battery life since before this it's usually 100% to 40% in 7 hours when i get back, 2 hours SOT with H+

due to i'm too brilliant, i send to my friend's house in US, and notice ship back need at least USD60~120. so i gave up my unit to my friend.
i order a new unit, send to CWG, and i knew my coll go to US, so i send from CWG to my coll hotel (29USD[2 days shipment], actually only USD12[5 days shipment], but i want it fast, so i paid CWG USD29), and she helped me bring back (no SIRIM charge)

long story ...  rclxub.gif

Says your service stopped and waze process is killed. And you got WIN DEATH (It means the active UI window of the application was killed together with the process. Quoted)
Have you tried clear data? Also sorry, I'm no expert, so I might not be able to help.
Googling shows different answers, like heavyload on a single thread/memory leak/hardware acceleration; so I'm not really sure.  Sorry.

No worries. Kind of you to try and help out. It's not really a huge problem, only can't use on long journeys.

I did clear cache before but not dalvik cache. Maybe will try to clear dalvik cache one day and see if it helps. Do you think that it could be hardware problem?

did some test with M11's modem, which is the same with ColorOS-0918's, and compared it with M9's modem. these test were done over celcom network

results:

M9
2G -61 dBm
3G -75 dBm
H+ -73 dBm
LTE -111 dBm

M11/Color OS-0918
2G -59 dBm
3G -75 dBm
H+ -77 dBm
LTE -110 dBm

kind of mixed results. on 2G, both were comparable in term of signal strength. M9's 2G was better by only 2 dBm, which is very nominal.

Both had the same signal strength on 3G

this is where is shows different result. on H+, M11's was better with 4 dBm.

but on LTE, again it was comparable, with M9's being better by 1 dBm, which again is very nominal

will see how M11 modem perform tomorrow at work

Well, he guy reflashed your phone with CM11S which is what I would have done.
Seems like he used toolkit.
