Any idea how can I fix this?

Mine 1+ is stock.
Done nothing.

Try manual download the ota.zip (please google) and put into your /sdcard then install it from recovery.
Thanks!
Is there any other way besides manual download?

look to me, like the OTA file was corrupted and cant be properly installed. you're not rooted, right?
*
Yes, I am not rooted.

Maybe I try to clear and download the ota again.

Clear cache. This will wipe any ota.zip you've gotten.
Then check system update again for it.

Done exactly that twice.

Still got the same error.

Never mind, I will try again next week.

Thanks anyway. smile.gif

Found the solution! thumbup.gif

https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/ota-38r-...working.139077/

Can refer here also: https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/38r-unkn...e.137701/page-2

Apparently the OTA update got stuck cos the phone does not where the zip file is.

What I did was...
At that screen, I chose APPLY UPDATE
then I manually locate where the OTA downloaded that cm-bacon-3628510d76-to-......-signed.zip file in the phone.
Mine was under the folder /Android/data/com.cyngn.fota/cache/
Point there and my installation went smoothly!

this is one way to do it:
If I want to do backup my unrooted one+, I should do a TWRP backup, right?

Good one. biggrin.gif

I just tried installing TWRP.
When I tried to flash the TWRP image, it says my device is not unlocked.
What can I do next?

now i know why people who updated to 38R via OTA keep getting problems like random reboots, flickering screen, etc.

haih... just realized upon flashing the true full rom.. many functions and features were missing on the OTA

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

and again. restoring was fast, backing up took longer time laugh.gif
