GS65 interior have very unique design compare to the rest, i opened it and checked it out before, not too user friendly if you upgrading it on your own.

i had experience on opening couple of laptop and help replacing part from helping friends before ,
that's not the biggest issue...
Just the build quality of 1st gen gs65 is lousier,
so i worry it may broke something not due to my issue...
Also they improved the hinge,
add-on supportive bar around screen
and sticker to prevent static on board to latest gs75 and new gen gs65.

What is the price of MSI GS75 Stealth?

I am looking for the following specs. Would it be cheaper to buy in MY or SG? I heard US is much cheaper. I am currently in US.

Model : GS75 Stealth
CPU : i7-9750H or I7-8750H
GPU : RTX 2060
Storage : 1TB Samsung 970 Pro NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD
Ram : 32gb DDR4-2666

True, US is much cheaper due to the tax and stuff. But if you plan to courier it will be hella expensive. But comparing to SG and MY, SG is slightly cheaper, but you will have problem for the warranty.

Went to MSI flagship store. A representative from MSI Malaysia was there that day. Apparently the GT76 will arrive Malaysia middle of July 2019 and it was definitely in their 3rd quarter line-up.
Would likely visit their store again next month to have a gander at the display unit. Just to know what a RM20k+ laptop feels like.

If you got the chance, help to check out GE65 Raider, see if it is any good. I am having my eyes on it, hoping the price won't be too ridiculous.

Msi suffers from hinge problem and keyboard led lights dying… not too sure if they fix it in latest model or not.

No input regarding the hinge issue got resolve in latest model? Or really qc that bad? Also I research got people report keyboard rgb light start dying… haih was planing to buy msi but may not consider now.

I do think the hinge problem you referring to are like 3 - 4 year old model, to be honest every brand laptop sure have problem depending on user usage and mostly luck. i've been using and reviewing them for quite some time and i have no problem with that.

I do agree the hinge from older model have problem which occur to me too. but the newer one definitely an improvement.

hmm, my GS63 been nearly 4 year are still fine beside the wording on the keyboard start to fade due to my sweat, I an say either you are very unlucky or you did not take care of the hinge, but if your laptop rgb start to fade go and send into warranty lol
