Vary speeds as in do not simply keep throttle at say 80km/h or any other speeds for long.. Have to alternate between speeds. Best as I've read is to simply city driving as everything is varied and nothing stays for long.. Brakes, speed, RPM, gears, etc.. All switching from time to time.
Not suppose to use autocruise.. This is debatable.. In fact the whole breaking in engine is debatable as modern engines are so much advanced than older engines. Nevertheless, some like to do it just for peace or mind.. Just in case as if required, it's ensures your engine lasts much longer and runs better.
This self-explanatory.. Don't redline or try to do 0-60 or 100 times, etc.. Don't go crazy pulling out from traffic lights or toll gates.. Just relax and try to keep at least below 2.5k RPM especially for the diesel variant. In my experience, it's a non-issue as one can go up to 100km/h without crossing the 2.5k mark and once the right gear engages, it actually stays comfortable around 1.5k..
Mine gave last minute during delivery..

I believed the above are some tips on how to "break-in" the engine
1. Vary your driving speed, i.e. don't stick to single speed when driving
2. Check if the auto-cruise control is working, but don't use the auto-cruise as you need to vary the driving speed
3. Some car makers suggested to keep the RPM below certain level during the breaking-in period. Below 3k should be fine
Guys, thanks for the reply.
Sorry for not knowing all that, because i'm a Mazda first timer.
