Not sure about others but to me it's kinda ridiculous not to have Android Auto on modern car nowadays especially at this price point. Some more can't install/enable it ourselves.
*
Maybe their Japanese ego still strong af, thinking their MZD infortainment still on par of the standard of Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

All I need is to be able to use Google maps or Waze. The navigation system in cars usually don't includes traffic info.

Anyway, is there any check list during car collecting?
*
Yes, this is the thing we wanted.

Maybe initially MZD is meant for offline navigation kot. That's why no real time updates or something.

Hi CX-5 Owner,

As for the new members here or those who considering CX-5, one of the popular question will be asking how was CX-5 fuel performance, what fuel is used and will CX-5 model contributes to fuel efficiency etc.

Here I came with another survey on CX5 fuel performance and hope existing CX-5 owners can participate and give some useful information for those who considering CX-5 car. After submission, you will able to view the result.

You can click on this Mazda CX-5 Fuel Efficiency Survey to participate this survey.
*
When will you reveal the result? or can we able to view the result on realtime?

Ok, I just booked my 2.0GLS from my nearest showroom..

Asked for Soul Red Crystal, Out of stock
Asked for Machine Grey, Out of stock
Recommended Snowflake White Pearl, Wife don't encourage.
Only available stock color for 2.0GLS only left Deep Crystal Blue or Meteor Grey.

In the end chose Deep Crystal Blue. Because due to the color quite special, when under shade it is dark blue almost black, when under the sun it will become Crystal Blue.
While Meteor Grey don't look great like Machine Grey IMO..

Salesperson said will get my car around July...i think i am the one on the back of the queue..

You are right, all colors out of stock. For non premium colors, just deep blue and meteor grey are available, between that 2, highest availability is blue. Getting the car in July is definitely not last in the queue, other colors you can't get even in August before SST. So pathetic that buying a RM150k car but can't choose color.
*
True that. My salesperson keep asking me to take 2.2d 2wd demo unit Machine Grey. "That is one of your fav color..."

I was like, dry.gif

The production also one kind, must have predicted this season is everybody's car shopping spree season, but still one month produce 20 cars per color..

damn this Bermaz... sad.gif

Yes. that blue color at first I am disgusted by it. but after a few walkaround, it is almost gradient like blue and black. smile.gif

Haha.. I too am torn between the Meteor Grey and the DC Blue.. Initially didn't care cuz made up mind not to get the Soul Red Crystal and go for the safe easier to maintain?? Grey.. But walked around the Blue a bit and it's like growing on me.. Anyone else share concerns that it's more of a swirl and scratches magnet than the Meteor Gray?

Also, hoping someone can answer my previous questions.. Thanks.
*
So which color you get in the end?

I taken some photos of the DCB. Can see the crystal glowing under the sun.

demo unit and not the test drive unit right? if it comes with a right price (discount), i won't mind taking it also 1, since it's just there being "molested" only haha.

where did you book it by the way?

*
didn't mention about the discount also.

the salesperson said it is there because of a buyer last minute cancel his order in March. I don't want car being molested by many people la...

I booked my car at Mazda Autocity, Juru.

Initially booked Grey but like having doubts cuz it's such a boring color.. smile.gif Which is a strength. Looking at your pics under the sun and it's quite a striking color. Thanks for those. Do you find it shows dirt faster? I plan to wash once a week or max 2 weeks.. Currently driving a Grey Sparkle Civic FD1 and to me, it's a gorgeous color after every wash  and remains so unless super super dirty.. It too has the sparkling paint effects. Hence my growing attraction to the DC Blue.  sweat.gif

*
I see. glad you join the DC Blue team...haha

Yes, if you look closely to the photo that closer to the car, on the wheel arc there, it is some dirt water stain there...

DC Blue is very 'vulnerable' to dirt water stains... sad.gif

Hmm, yeah I can see the marks.. As feared.. Sigh!...  sweat.gif.. Thanks again.
I also plan to DIY.. Been researching those home use DIY coating products.. But unlike the pro ones that last for years. You'll have to be reapplying every couple months or longer depending on how much weather damage the car sees.. Nvm, See how.
*
My friend introduce me to Meguiars wax. One must be very hardworking to wax the car once in 2 weeks.
DIY coating is not recommended, because we don't have the suitable tools to do the coating (coating is not that easy as using sponge and cloths right?)

I don't think i will let those Bangla to wash my new car too, worried that their cloth fall onto sandy floor and picked up and wipe the car.. Habis...

DC Blue team also here biggrin.gif

Btw, read a lot of complaints in FB regarding the i-stop function which basically deteriorating the battery life. So might be better to turn it off?

as for the tint, I hope it can hold the heat at least till after raya..pokai dy
*
Yeah! welcome team DC Blue.

This i not so sure. But i-Stop annoys me when it keep vibrate on and off.

The skytint you may use that first...buy customize shades, if still don't like, only install other tint.

Very irritating when you are stopping at the junction and trying to cross. You can feel the slight jerk when the car stops and starts back.

For power boots, Jack bring in 2 versions.
The cheapest one is about 2k, while the more expensive one is around 3k, with kick censor another Rm200-300
*
Will that power boot feature utilize that button on the boot cover there?

If install will it void the warranty?

seems like the 2k one is enough already.
