Discovered this chip and dent (1.5 cm diameter) at the driver's door this morning, caused by a phantom car while parking and just a few hours before my trip to Ceramic Pro. Two-week old car's first ding.

Wife has been very patient with my mood the entire morning

The CP guys explained that it is feasible to proceed with coating on the panel to prevent rust. At anytime, to come back for re-coat after deciding to fix the door. As long it is within the warranty period, re-coat is FOC.

It is expected for Mazda to charge a bomb for the fix and respray. Anyone has positive experience with workshops that can match the original DC Blue colour?

A friend mentioned that Dent Repair Malaysia can fix it. I've heard of places like that but never bothered with the previous car. The size of the damage is like a huge dried nose booger, so I hope they can cover it up seamlessly by whatever tech they have.

RED maybe in August as i heard now they doing the blue. Maybe blue sales order figure is higher & was informed that there will be a batch of blue “maybe” coming in july. Hope it is real.

Previously during placing my order, my SA keep asking me to take SRC due to the stock still available but my eyes and heart can take off The Blue. I rather wait for it. Anyway good luck to you by getting your car soon.

i also got my SRC from auto city branch. maybe is ready stock, that's why i collected my car in beginning of june.

i booked a day after LGE announced 0% GST in May.

I booked and loan signed for the Soul Red CX5.

On a brighter note, if the RED comes in August, I hope the stonechip issue is already solve as what I heard from the news, any RED Soul CX5 manufactured before June may have some defect on the painting.

But yeah, waiting for a month plus for a new car is cumbersome & tiring!

NA: Btw my SA told me Soul Red will be available in July.

saw someone on Mazda CX-5 FB page, software mod their 2.0GLS to enable SCBS (rear)    seems like all the hardware needed is there, just that it's not software activated.
