To be honest, if one knows something ahead of others, don't get cocky lo...one day many will exceed him/her. nod.gif

Other places should price similar I believe. I asked my SA before. Because of the price, I didn't do the power boot installation sweat.gif
*
To be honest, I don't think that power boot is needed.
The boot is not heavy at all, and not like we buy CX5 just to carry heavy loads.

But if got lots of money to burn, opt out the sweep censor power boot, just get the one that open when press on remote.

Well it's up to personal preference. Some do find it useful. If I have the money to splurge, I'll add on the power boot as well.

In my case, instead of power boot I opt for extra tint, coating and other etc etc accessories like dash cam.
*
Yes. But i think we need to have more people knowing how to install those accessories, so that they will compete the price among themselves..and we get benefited.

Me too... hope to have auto-fold side mirror, extra tint, dashcam, muffler tips, bigger rims...and etc... rclxms.gif rclxm9.gif

Hi Bros,

New here, I was looking at Jack's Andriod box installed in the CX5, anyone else does the same?

Also, I read somewhere in this forum that we can activate lane assist and etc by activating the software, is it true?
*
Be patient bro, heard that Mazda China is offering CarPlay already, maybe US going to have Android Auto and CarPlay both...and then Malaysia... brows.gif

For myself, i always open the boot as im doing supporting stuff but still feel that is not worth it for the power boot. I will rather spend a RM3000 for a Crossfire DSP that could enchanced the stock speaker as i travel always so music is my companion. Of course if i have extra cash, why not? The power boot looks cool....but.....no apa puntak boleh buat!! Where is my car?!! Sigh~~
*
Hahaha...think so far but our car yet to get.. sad.gif

Good morning guys!

Been surfing FB CX5 club, many people started asking around the same question i asked previously. (How many get their cars when booked on the beginning of June?)

My findings:

1. Looks like 2.2d CX5 owners get their within a week or two after booked. Those owners are from the Miri and Johor.

2. For those taking 2.0gls and 2.5gls still waiting for the news..Rumors say within July, Added that my SA and her branch manager also saying within July (DCBlue Color).

3. For those taking 2.0gl, one feedback saying they ordered from May, but still waiting until now. Looks like Bermaz really focus on those 2.0gls and above maybe.

4. [Unsure to believe or not] One saying Bermaz want to push more premium color (SoulRedCrystal, MachineGrey, SnowFlakeWhite) than the normal color (DeepCrystalBlue, Meteor Grey, Arctic White). Removed

Happy driving to those who have their car delivered.
And happy waiting to those who still waiting... brows.gif

Anyone getting the memo saying no price increase after SST for bookings before Aug 18?
*
Not getting any of those memo, is that memo written in email or text msg?

QUOTE(dc_hunter @ Jul 9 2018, 11:21 AM)
For your Point 4. i don't think so... i order SRC but my SA called me whether i want DCB or not. If DCB i can get in 2 weeks time. SRC no news.
*
Yes, i believe that is not true also.
And thanks for confirming that. I will remove point 4.

Got an update from my 'new' SA, after driving myself to the dealer shop yesterday, that my 2.0GLS DCB that I booked on 19 May will be ready by August.
*
I see. not sure whether i can confirm that.

Mazda Branch able to get on July, while Mazda Dealers able to get on August. hmm.gif

I booked mine from a dealership, so this could explain the slight delay. But then due to the transfer of SA, I'm not sure if the rebate amount agreed 'verbally' by my old SA still applies

hopefully they will honor it since there's no black n white bruce.gif
*
hmm.gif What rebate your SA promised you?

I think it will be written into your order form right?

Just now passed by the Autocity Mazda branch, the showroom is almost empty just leaving 1 or 2 Mazda2 and Mazda3, and 1 Machine Grey 2.2d. Comparing to last time I went there to place booking to my car, it was full of CX5.

Really sapu semua ya fellow CX5-ers... rclxms.gif

Go for 2.5G or 2.2D if you can affort...totally different type of driving experience especially pick up, over take car or sudden accelerate......you will get the power of C segment 2.0L sedan...for 2.0L will be more like D segment 2.0L large sedan....

Some mention 2.0L enough for city drive and I normally didnt op for high speed driving pun so why need 2.5G or 2.2D.... Actually, for my personal though will be the 2.5G or 2.2D is not how fast you drive but more on how the engine handle ur car weight/size as well as how the car performance response to your pedal request ...

My fren always joking for 2.0L heavy SUV or D segment sedan will be.....when u sudden pedal to over take or speed up then car will responsed like ...ooohh I need to move faster now but wait ah wait ahhhh wait...I am coming up slowly......hold your horse 1st....power lai liao lai liao...then ok now u get it after it struggles with engine roar sound....hahhahha not sure u all agree boh.....

Of cause it come with price....2.5L Roadtax is RM8xx and 19" Rims tyre emmm...a bit pain for ur wallet if proceed with premium tyre like Michelin, Pirelli etc unless go for mid range tyre such as Nexen, Toyo, Continental, Hankok etc....the extra 10k+++ will induced maybe additional ~RM150 more on mthly loan (9 yrs)....depend on your personal assessment...

Anyway just my 2 cents...some might not agree with me....
*
I have to agree with you bro..as I am choosing 2.0gls...brows.gif
And must not forget..2.2diesel must fuel up with Euro5 only diesel..[CODE]

Guys I was thinking should we boom their mailbox? I know some of the buyer here might waited even longer than me but I felt really unfair to us as the car is CKD not CBU but we need to wait so long for it and for now their alocation are like each dealer received 1-3 unit per week. Their management issit so bad? Maybe you all think that Im not patience enough, I dont mind but just feel that is so not fair.
*
Me same thoughts with you.

I always check here and FB CX5 clubs for those who get their cars and when they book theirs, so i do analysis to forecast when is my car will be delivered. cool2.gif

But that is like kena poison already, so that i can find 'peace'.. biggrin.gif

Anyway not just us, I think everyone also affected.
Yesterday we went to Honda to book my sister a new HRV RS. The SA showed us the list of his customer that is like 15 of them...Car delivery status : Unknown.

Useable. The FEATURE Is already there just that bermaz strip it off. So the paddle shifter is just plug and play IINM.
*
Yeah. Just now watch JL's youtube clip demonstrating his customer install paddle shifter from him...

Looks like we need to compile a CX5 unlockable features list. Put it into first post ,so that any CX5 owners can refer that..

Shall we contact mod to get us into V2?
