QUOTE(Wongchoy @ Apr 29 2015, 04:08 PM) QUOTE(kremlin @ Apr 29 2015, 04:46 PM) My categories are mobile, utilities and petrol, and you can control each category's spending. A word of advice, always end your spending with RM5 behind. For example, Mobile = RM225 spent, rebate = RM23; Petrol = RM 355 spent, rebate = RM36; Utilities = RM405 spent, rebate = RM41; Total = RM985 spent, rebate = RM100. I have even paid RM1 just to add up to the desired figure. |

That means, spend a cumulative total of RM985 to achieve RM100 cashback, effective rate is about 10.15% i've simulated the calculation (on paper), you need to all 3 categories to achieve highest cashback rate with the lowest spending This post has been edited by cybpsych: Apr 29 2015, 05:11 PM |

I myself couldnt hit 10X RM50, so i help paying mobile bills/grocery from my household and reload TnG card for Grocery, i meticulously group items into RM50+ per swipe, then swipe each group one after another (gotta have thick skin when ppl queueing behind you stares fiercely at you! LOL!) |

Actually no need to make it complicated, the trick is, all the 3 categories transaction must be have rm5 in the ending, but with this way, each category minimum is rm55.For example, Mobile = RM225 spent, rebate = RM23; Petrol = RM 355 spent, rebate = RM36; Utilities = RM405 spent, rebate = RM41; Total = RM985 spent, rebate = RM100. QUOTE(cybpsych @ Apr 30 2015, 09:44 AM) highlighted: how u know you April rebate? shouldnt it be next month (28 May) only you know April's rebate? rebate not given for the month of April means my March transactions, which is my petrol on 31st MarchFYI, if you transact in March, your rebate will only be given to you next following month which is usually end of April. |

I normally spend till 28th... since i won't be max out the following month quota, might as well give it a try as I already met the required min 10 x RM50 transaction.
also, to once and for all to end the argument between some of you here on whether it's based on transaction date or posting date so far, I can conclude that, better to spend from 1st to 28th of the month... |
