oh ok thanks a lot for this tip. i will test some alternative methods and see if they work, too.

edit: yes the key didn't work for activation via clean install (i tried pro retail only). i guess we are at the stage very close to rtm. normally Microsoft makes activation method as the last part of finalization to include in new os before release. since the activation method has changed, offline restore of activation tokens didn't work also.

edit.2: this build is kind of better. however there are still plenty happening behind the scene and get logged in events viewer.

edit.3: working key for w10 pro retail build 10147: 8N67H-M3CY9-QT7C4-2TR7M-TXYCV from wzor's tweet:

Great news everyone running Windows Insider with Windows 10 TP: http://m.winsupersite.com/windows-10/how-t...-windows-10-rtm

Your build 10130 and later builds will convert to RTM as long as you are part of the windows insider program. It will also allow you to do a clean install later.

Am I entitled to get a seperate RTM key if upgrade from windows 8.1 to Windows 10 preview? Btw, the key in windows 10 preview after upgrade is not my windows 8.1 key right?

What is the current state of Win10? Is it usable for everyday use? I mainly use my PC for gaming/surfing/office work.

Fairly stable. Haven't had a crash on build 10130. Running it with steam, battle.net, and origins. NVIDIA has Windows 10 TP drivers, so you're at least covered on that.

Edge is fairly fast (not perfect though), and IE is still around hidden in the windows system directory.

I only have problems with the Store (Beta) getting updates to the Music app.

Yes I am aware of this. There's news saying that if I opt to join the Insider program, I will be eligible for a free win 10 later. Thinking of giving it a go.
