i installed franco kernel without rooting..

Try upgrade/downgrade firmware, if prob still exits ,gd chance hardware issue.

What firmware version are u using currently?

again. i dont know where you read that you need to be rooted to use custom kernel, in this case, franco kernel. you dont need to root to be able to use franco kernel.

if you too worried about it, you can always go back to stock kernel and remain unrooted.

1st step
factory reset and monitor the device. if it still having random boot problem, then proceed to step 2.

2nd step.
reformat and reflash the device as new device. dont install any additional apps on in yet. monitor it for at least a day to see if the random reboot still persist.

if the problems were fixed during 1st or 2nd step, it is safe to say, the errors you are getting were due to software issues.

but if the problems still exist even after you did the 2nd step, then, your device have hardware issues and you may proceed to claim warranty

Flash through recovery fine no need root.

If you want to use those kernel apps, they will require root as they will need the permission to access system directories to modify the files.

Again, I don't know why someone with custom recovery with custom kernel do not want to root. It's like, I cannot brain.

Thanks all sifus, my phone is completely dead now. No matter what I do I still can't turn on the phone. Don't think I can still do reset, right?

Can u go to FastBoot Mode ? by pressing Power Button and Vol Up Button same time? or

Maybe ur battery run out ? Charge it first for 1 hr and try to ON back and see

the battery might be completely drained. charge it using the original cable and charger, leave it charged for at least 2 hours. then, attempt to turn on the device again.

it's like u open the door by unlocking bootloader but u don't wanna walk in into the room to explore and make changes for better future, i thought unlocking/custom recovery/root is one of the main reason ppl buying ap set

No actually not because of the AP set, main reason is why people are buying close to stock, no bullwhip hassle OS to unlock the bootloader and root and flash flash flash!

Of course. The price also. But why did you unlock the bootloader in the first place. Should just buy and use.
