Critics loved everything about nolans dark knight. All 3 of them.
So it's isn't all hate.
I haven't watch it yet. I will not read any reviews though I have my reservations of SS trailers. Esp the latest ones- it comes across too animated. Though I never prejudge base on trailers.

It's more sentiment and bias towards the director though. Dark knight rises and interstellar weren't that great and had a lot of scenes that made zero sense but gets a pass anyways cos reasons

Read the reviews... its a 'different' kind of bad from BvS, but still 'bad'. Sloppy direction seems to be an indicator with 'paper thin' storyline.
Btw,
Suicide Squad: DC fans petition to shut down Rotten Tomatoes over critical reviews
QUOTE
The negative reviews rolling in for Suicide Squad have some DC Comics fans upset — but not about the movie. Instead, a small but outspoken group is going after Rotten Tomatoes, a site that aggregates movie reviews.
One enterprising fan — Abdullah Coldwater of Alexandria, Egypt — launched a Change.org petition to shutter Rotten Tomatoes due to its lackluster ratings on movies in DC’s wheelhouse. The petition accuses the site of giving “unjust bad reviews … that affects people’s opinion even if it’s a really great [movie].” The petition has received about 3,800 signatures as of this posting.
Rotten Tomatoes, which tallies the percentage of reviews that are deemed positive, currently shows a meager 36 percent positive rating for Suicide Squad, based on 64 reviews, while this spring’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice settled at 27 percent on 344 critiques. To compare, Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War garnered a laudatory 90 percent with 320 critics chiming in.
One of my most awaited films of the year and was confident it would be well received by critics. Anyways, the film will most likely have a better audience reception just like BvS.
Both Man of Steel and Batman v Superman were forgivable and enjoyable to me, but not this one. The worst DC Extended Universe film to date.
Okay, and with that it seals the deal for me to NOT watch this. Read your review too.
I thought David Ayer whose "Fury" is among his works I liked could be the saving grace for DC and the cast which seemed poised for greatness... aiyo...
"Lousy version of Joker." What a shocker. Its Jared Leto who throws himself into the role he plays..
how? the reviewers r the same people that contributed towards metacritic's score. would u blame metacritic for giving a score of 46% for suicide squad at the moment as well?
i dont get why some people think rotten tomatoes is an entity that can be bias. they r just aggregating positive reviews percentage. metacritics r aggregating average review scores percentage.

Comparing RT ratings with imdb, looks like imdb give quite high at 8 plus.. personally i think imdb always give more fair and unbiased rating than RT..

How does IMDb --- a site where anyone can register and rate films, is fair again?
I have 3 accounts on that site myself --- one through normal register, 1 login through facebook and another login through Amazon. The last 2 accounts was created just because I was too lazy to reset the password.

I thought it was only ok and definitely wasn't mind blowing like how it's hyped up to be. The Suicide Squad members aren't that bad compared to the villain which is just really stupid. The villain was actually dancing and swinging that hips. And again we get the swirling pile of trash-thing in the middle of the city. Didn't we just recently saw that in Ghostbusters and Independence Day? The pacing was also a problem like what some people are saying. It kept switching between watchable and boring. Deadshot and Harley were kinda entertaining while Diablo is the one that will surprise you. Some people love it but most seem to hate it for now. You'll have to watch it for yourself.
