Q: Assassin's Creed: Origins crashes on my PC with 32-core CPU. What can I do to fix this?

A: In the meantime, please try to run the game on less cores, for example 28.

I have Gskill X flare 2400 DDR4 ram 8x 2 = 16GB.
Can I OC them ? if yes how to OC On Asus B350 strix? Newbie on OC here.

check your motherboard manual, try check on the bios setup. If it failed to boot after you've oc it.. just reset the bios back.

AMDmy about 1 month ago, I sent my PowerColor R9 390X DEVIL for RMA because it has 2 issues:
1. Lots of artifacts appear on the screen when playing games at factory overclocked speed of 1100MHz. Had to downclock it to 1050MHz for it to run properly without artifacts
2. My FreeSync monitor flickers whenever I turn enabled FreeSync in AMD settings

A. No, this has nothing to do with my system because when I put the graphic card on another system, both issues are still there
B. No, this has nothing to do with my monitor because when I use RX 550, the flickering is gone

After 1 month of long RMA process, PowerColor Malaysia called me back telling me my RMA process is completed
They returned the same unit back to me telling me it has been repaired
After testing it, both of the issues I've listed above is still there, the only thing that improves is the idle temperature, before it idles at 52°C, now it idles at 41°C
And that's it. That's the only differences I see before and after RMA. Other than that, the artifacts and the FreeSync flickering is still there
It's like the only thing they did was change the thermal paste, they did nothing to repair the card

Please assist. This is so fucked up. They force the customer to wait for 1 month for the RMA process to be completed and the customer end up with the same faulty card

Very lucky. You basically got a Ryzen 7 for a cheaper price. What's the batch number and where you bought it from?

i'm thinking to switch over to team Red for my new VM crunching server since my existing team blue proc is almost up in its lifespan

question:

1. Are there any other differences betwee 1700, 1700x, 1800x besides the clockspeed and TDP and inclusive wraith fan ?

2. Since I'm doing VM loads, it wouldn't matter for clockspeed but more on core count ?

3. Is the memory compatibility still pretty restricted at the time being ? As I'm intending to populate up to 64GB of ram or more if possible in the future.

Thanks !
