QUOTE(S4PH @ May 5 2015, 09:26 AM) will APU benefit from DX12? I have a a10-7850k i want to see the performance increase on dx12, gaming on 720p is no issue on this chip as long the RAM is fast enough On CPU side, yes. On gpu side, not that much imo.

QUOTE(AMDmy @ May 7 2015, 03:30 AM) Wouldn't this be great!!!?!?!! While that is indeed very nice, the reality is that Real Life IPCs are dependent on low cache miss rates, extremely good branch prediction and the "cost" of flushing a pipeline in the case of a miss (which scales with the length of that pipeline). It would be interesting to see SPEC numbers from AMD's next gen and maybe an architecture brief. During the pre Core-uarch days AMD generally ruled the roost with a stubbier pipeline and a ruthlessly efficient cache, but Intel caught up after the shitfest that was Prescott. It'll be nice to see what AMD has planned for next gen.

QUOTE(LittleBear @ May 20 2015, 08:19 AM) With Jim Keller back at AMD, this is achievable. This guy is a CPU architecture guru & is this guy is previously involved in designing the Apple iphone SoC. Haha, that's beyond us but we do appreciate your feedback. Will send it to HQ.

"Top-end AMD "Fiji" to Get Fancy SKU Name" I'm sure many of you have read the above. What do you think the name should be? Maybe we can go with fruit names but meh, that wouldn't be fierce. Perhaps various forms of spicy vegetables.

http://www.pcworld.com/article/2925074/amd...d-thats-ok.html Our card works fine on The Witcher 3 despite it having Nvidia’s proprietary GameWorks middleware technology. *Thanks nVidia, for not screwing up the game for us.

What could be heading our way? Is there going to be a tech and process brief soon? If so it would be nice to see it. I'm quite interested with the die stacking and thermal performance of the new memory subsystem. It has been years since I've written a full review and technical dissertation of a graphics cards but the slew of new chips from both AMD and NVidia are making me interested.

QUOTE(S4PH @ May 24 2015, 01:17 PM) First project cars now Witcher 3 nvidia need to be stopped The Way it means to be PAID!!! Any PC game with Gameworks, PhyscX sure will cripple AMD's cards. Not to mention the incoming Batman - Arkham Knight. funny thing about the witcher3, the Titan card which cost 1kUSD run slower than the GTX960... Lets see how NVidia going to deal with Titan card users.. :lol This post has been edited by yhsiau: May 24 2015, 02:02 PM
