I mean the gold price.
US market keep sell and bring down the gold price. Trump give his liberation tariff speech just before the market close.
Dji spx all down about 2% after market.
It give ample time for asean market to ambush them now.
Gold is a commodity with limited production. U cant simply bring the orice down due to supply shortage.
Those short position on gold gonna make a big loss now.
I hate them as usual. They alwasy wash out retailers for their gain.

it's the european & US bullion banks that hv shorted gold; now, they find themselves in a bit of a squeeze.

ETFs hv been incr in USA, they push prices up.

asian retailers hv always been buying, but not so much in europe or north america.

the biggest variable is the central banks - they are still buying.

in short, no reason to think gold price will come down, yet.

spot 3162, futures 3183. still contango, looks normal, no extraordinary arbitrage opportunity.

slightly overbought, be alert when it hits 3200!

Hmmm, problem with such ambiguous statements will only attract more naysayers. A broken analog clock will still be correct twice/day.

Also, how would a retail gold investor, lose their shirt. Are you assuming everyone buys gold (a store of value & hedge against inflation) on leverage/margin?
