One point is a consolation at best for me. I think we should have killed the game off when we had the extra man. Missing a chance to go 8 above our main rivals may bite us in the back later.

Imo, city really strengthen their backline weaknesses.
What a solid backline they have now compare to last seasons.
loosing luiz-matic combo really make us soft in term of physical.

Thanks for pointing that out,i believe you're right, as just that little bit of physicality was missing from midfield which could've made a world of difference to us getting better control of the game. We weren't really overran in the second half, but we almost were prior to zabaleta being sent off.

Ramires and willian both looking really-really off colour didn't help our cause either. Can't disagree with jose's tactical changes today, except for that odd drogba sub. Looking at the big picture,it's a great point but feels a little like a missed chance after being one man up for an hour. Nevertheless,we're in a great position after taking on 2 big teams already.

Back to our goal partying ways in the next match please! :P

actually kind of worry if in the future, if costa injure, who can lead the forward line? Drogba can't make impact, still not sure what Remy can do.

For the overall performance, MC was the better team. The team keep conceded goals in recent matches, almost every matches. Is it really need to sacrifice defense for the offense?

I'm so excited when Shurrle scored! But Lampard's goal for me was something sweet and sour.

The league still a long way to go, still got 33 matches. Anything can happen.

We were lucky with city having a sent off.
Before the red I dun think we have chances to bag three points and we slowly lossing control in the mid.
indeed having willian and ramires off from really bad recipes for us to play against city in their home ground.

Do believe we set up to defend in last night's game. The fluidity is missing compare to all the previous games. But seriously, City back 4 is very solid, especially Mangala.

It's only after the sending off that we saw the fluidity came back on the left side of the field. We could have sealed the deal if Costa didn't hit the woodwork, but a point at City is way better and losing since we setup defensively with all of their players moving forward better.

One thing good is Fabregas did a good job last night, defensively and too bad that's it's our hero turn villain Schurrle that failed to mark Milner.

Pity Lampard. His face look heartbroken when he scored. A true gentlemen and professional
