lol chill man...we got a goal after the sending off, we are supposed to see off the game as it was in the 80+ minutes, pellegrini pulled off a mind game by playing lampard...
*
exactly. Pellegrini had Lampard as his ace up his sleeve.
Lampard has always been dangerous and knows how our Chelsea defenders work.
props to him and his professionalism.

A draw is still good enough. we still haven't lose to the champions at their home.
come stamford bridge, things might be different

From the match chelsea clearly lossing big time in term of physical.
few of our player need match fitness.
We still have lots of fine tuning to do with the squad.
our defense is lots better in shape compare to the last few matches but still lots of work needed to do.

Well, I understand why Oscar was not subbed in. We needed more shield for our back four with the way Aguero, Dzeko, Milner and Silva is playing. Hence Mikel in. Fab is doing not so well in winning the ball back.

While Schurrle was the other choice to sub in because he offers striker's instinct. Which is also why we got the goal. But the downside to Schurrle is his defending, just like Hazard. U gain some, u lose some, I can only say this. There's no perfect player. Schurrle provided us with the goal. But his poor tracking and defending also cost us a goal.

Pelegrini memang pandai main tactic. Sub in Lamps to mindfucuk us. sweat.gif

yap Cech should start that game, and a clean sheet will be good.

Wonder overall can the players that involve in the midweek take some toll on fitness. think if Ramires is not injured, i think he will continue on the field

wtf mourinho thinking, zalabeta got send off why they just keep playing defending and keeping the ball..shouldn't be attack or press higher?even after lampard score they all playing just like need a point.wtf vmad.gif  vmad.gif  vmad.gif  vmad.gif  vmad.gif

Bro, it's not easy to press higher when you playing against the team that is the winner of last season. They don't win the season because they don't have quality. Even down to 10 men, it's not easy to get into them. I understand that JM is not planning to push too hard on them, worried that they might counter us. We only have ourselves to blame for letting Lampard go and Schürrle for not doing his defense job properly.

Fox sports was showing highlights at halftime from our brilliant win at the etihad last season, and i can't help but be amazed by the amount of chances we created and how dangerous we looked on the break against them, even hitting the post twice, etc.

Fast-forward to today, and we just paled in comparison. The difference was practically night and day. The post match stats showed we only had 4 shots and that's not good enough no matter who we're up against.

This seems a bit like a case of showing them too much respect, which is strange given how they're not exactly on top form atm. What a missed opportunity to open up a real gap between us and them and I can't understand why remy wasn't given a chance to trouble city's backline with his pace.Costa was struggling against mangala and kompany's strength,so what chance did drogba have?

Jose needs to set aside sentiment sometimes. Hope we don't have a hangover after this in the league.

schurrle track back better than fab.. he was too happy for his goal that's y abit lacklustre.. seriously fab key point is assist but when his assist fail he is useless.. i don't rate him so higher.. i prefer alex song, rodwell more than fab

calm down bro. A GK is at his best when he move forward. Simple logic. Standing on the line and moving forward. By moving forward, he can cover more area of the goal. Simply standing on the line, the keeper have more goal area to be covered? laugh.gif

a draw in the champions' home ground is not that bad. Just a bit sad we didn't go all out in the last few second. Just keep passing around.

Btw guys, calm ur tits. It's just 5 game into the season. It's not make or break yet. 5 games, 4 wins and 1 draw against the Champion of last season. Tbh, I'm content with our result so far. icon_rolleyes.gif

Imo, city really strengthen their backline weaknesses.
What a solid backline they have now compare to last seasons.
loosing luiz-matic combo really make us soft in term of physical.
