but even he brought on Remy, I dont think Remy would have been able to go against Mangala and Kompany...

agreed.. do u rmb JM play 4-5-1 put schurrle on front but we lost 2 mc early game by aguero.. when we face mc must play 4-4-2 put at least two striker up front.. if me i will put drogba, remy & costa all 3

remy can play wide.. if which strike force don't perform then only put schurrle, willian or oscar

TBH city played better than us today.
i dont blame mourinho for the defensive play but, our player seem fail to counter city physical play today.

Hazard and Fab really struggling today.

Compare Costa and Remy, both play different style; Costa bulldoze the defense, Remy sometimes sneaks around. But putting Drogba out instead of Remy is really a big question mark.

yeah. we didn't win the Champs, but we didnt lose either. on top of that, we are beating everyone else.
Man Utd not doing too well despite spending so much money,
Liverpool still haven't found their scoring ways,
we drawed Man City at their home.
only Arsenal did well this weekend.

It was still worth a shot though, since we did utilise pace to carve through their defence for the goal. I lost count of how many times costa was manhandled by kompany (sometimes he looked like he was being fouled to be fair),so brute strength clearly wasn't working. More pace would've potentially done more damage me thinks.

for the past 14 years we have been enjoying the luxury of seeing frank's "being at the right place at the right time", but for the last 10 minutes of the match just now we finally know how it felt like seeing him doing that against our beloved team... just that short 10 minutes is enough to make my heartbeat almost stopped.

anyway my respect for lamps has just gone up to another whole level... he has been so professional, he knows he plays for man city and he has to help them score, didn't celebrate when scores against us, he still goes to the chelsea away fans area to applaud them after the match, he goes on hugging every chelsea player on the field after the match...such a professional man

this. drogba is a good sub. but depens on situation.
that time we need counter attack. so drogba is a biggg no.
better put remy.

then make it 2-0. Drogba's goal assist by Fab and Fab score another goal.

ok, time to sleep so it'll come true. lel

Gud post match interview by Mou. Spot on on every point. Schurrle can score us a goal, but cant track back like Ramires to prevent the goal. Football is indeed a gamble. Sometimes u win some, sometimes u lose some.

Lets take it positively guys. We lose 2 points away from home, but last season's champion lose 2 points at their home ground. I guess its more damaging for them that they cant take the full 3 points playing at home. brows.gif

On Lamps goal. We can think of it as more of an own goal. Juz like JT own goal last week. Lel. Scoring for the opposition. If it'll make u feel better. laugh.gif
