I think we can just digest this result and move on. Despite the scoreline, there was a lot of positives that we can take from this game.

Aston Villa next week at the Bridge. I'm sure they'll be playing a lot more cautiously, especially after that Gunners blitzkrieg

1-2 years from now Bamford can fight for a spot in our lineup

to be honest we played better than what the scoreline suggests. Good workout for some of the young and fringe players.

What will be the Stamford bridge capacity after development works? Right now its 41k but a club of our stature should be at least 50-60k. i wonder if theres enough space for that

I'd rather we use Remy tonight. Keep Costa fit and focused for the gunners game this weekend. Let him run have a go at the Arsenal's defense

QUOTE(SlomoX @ Oct 7 2014, 01:55 PM) they said we used park the bus tactic, had this comment shoved to me this morning. we need to hand them the points then they will shut the hell up Parked the bus? LOL !!! Where in that entire match did we park the bus? You mean when we had to DEFEND as they had the ball in our half? because today defending is translated as parking the bus? These gunners fans will say anything to justify their loss. Their central defenders lost the match for them. They were awful on the attack. Terrible tactics were employed on their end (Their strategy playing through the middle was easily subdued by our midfield) and why on earth did they sub out Cazorla I'll never know. Whatever happened to losing graciously? or being beaten by a team that played better ? or were just plain outplayed by a team that is a level above you? Reminds you of a certain lot doesn't it. QUOTE(sinoffire @ Oct 8 2014, 11:01 AM) i doubt lvg and Jm will be fighting/shoving on pitch lar....JM got respect for both lvg + saf. not even war of words during the later days. read the first sentence-->eyes strayed to your avatar-->BOOBIES-->profitbesides, lvg hardly walk down to pitch side so far in all matches. he'll just sit there with his black file folder + 2 pieces of A4 paper and a pen on his seat. noticed that for quite some time liaw. but it'll be interesting wat both managers have to say during the presser though. |

Cech will always be in our hearts. The response he got when he was subbed into the match is a testament to that. However we can say the same of the situation with Cudicini when Cech replaced him. This is just the same thing with Cech this time passing the mantle to a younger keeper. I'm sure Courtois will have to do the same in the future.

Next topic of discussion. Filippe Luis.
I love this playstyle but defensively he isnt as solid as Cesar. Im sure hes not happy about being on the bench either. |

After being a wrestling fanboy for a weekend, I get to come back to my beloved Chelsea.
Btw has anyone seen this? All of Diego Costa's goals created in FIFA 15 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o3RriHvMBPk This post has been edited by abusive123: Oct 13 2014, 01:11 PM |

khedira would be a great signing for us. It'll allow Fabregas to be a lot more versatile and play in his current deep position or up front at the number 10.
varane would make us perfect to be honest. Hes the missing jigsaw. I think Cech will be the key for the transfer to happen (varane, khedira or both). cmon january fingers crossed. |
