Lampard spoke about Chelsea more than Man City, i think he just said Man City twice in both interview, he has to do his job as a professional, we have to respect him

In a way,schalke must be given some degree of credit for successfully knocking us off our stride in midweek.I think the players were a bit shocked with how much of a fight they gave us and unfortunately we had a bit of a hangover vs city. Not like city were any slouches themselves though,they almost left us empty handed with their quick passing and movement.

not to forget their hard tackle and foul all game.

mangala + kompany look dangerous. both strong and quick especially mangala. no wonder city paid 32mil for him.

still bitter that we didnt get all 3 points against 10 man city. on a positive note, our defense did quite well last night. and matic is brilliant as always.

maybe subbing ramires out gave milner space to run, JM put him on the right to cover iva, and milner start from left and couldnt get anythings out from dave, then he switch to right.

btw, about MC game, i think Willian (AM), Rami (RM), Cesc Matic (DM) was a poor approach. It was too reactive (as opposed to active). Although personally I would have fielded Oscar, I would still preferred to see Rami holding, Willian wide, and Cesc in attack. We didn't concede any goals for the most part, but we did concede more chances than we created. This season we are more capable of going for the jugular than last season. With the right amount of consistent and incisive attacking pressure, we might see less goals conceded too.

Aston Villa next week at the Bridge. I'm sure they'll be playing a lot more cautiously, especially after that Gunners blitzkrieg
