I am staying in an apartment and I understand that for apartments, normal Astro doesn't have HD?

The reseller told me that only Astro IPTV in apartments have HD channels.

Is this true? I would like to avoid Astro IPTV as much as possible lol (heard lag/buffering issues)

Depends on your apartment... mine support HD (but not PVR). Better check with your apartment's management and see whether it support HD. Of course this is for centralize dish la...

Really up to you... both have pro and cons. For IPTV, you can watch while it rains and you can get some rebate is you are subscribed to superpack. And some condo/apartment might not support PVR if use centralized dish, so you'll have to use IPTV if you want the PVR function.

They paid to content provider must be in USD right. But they cant do anything with subscription price as of now.. so most probably what they are doing is to diversify ways in combating the price increase.

Guys 1 more questions. Will if I buy the Gotham tv series on vod will it be in HD??? I subscribe to HD, but when I download some of the free series on vod like Silicon Valley & broad walk empire it wasn't in hd.

after comparing the recent news program between Media Prima ntv7/8tv with AEC

you'd feel astro news is more "Watchable", eg. fair coverage was given towards Bersih rally, unlike erm... TV3 and Bernama

Media prima is nothing but UMNO's running dog, now this has extended to NTV7 and 8TV

nevertheless, Astro did have good records at helping out Chinese schools through charity roadshows and fund raisings all these while, they should be given credit for that, especially after the 916 red shirt rally

Fox Sport 2 in Singapore, Philippines, Thailand and Indonesia is showing Rugby World Cup without additional fee while Astro requires subscribers to subscribe to SETANTA for freaking RM53 to enjoy RWC. greed has no limit.
