Well if Mytv makes it in June who will want NJOI, I dont think ARPU has increased, the desperation to hold on has increased,cos Myytv had indicated free HD too. Asstro will have just to cling on to  sports to survive. They hv lost many chinese and indian subscibers to alternate cheaper sources,and they wl never return to astrro,and if Mytv makes it many malay customers wl follow suit! They are still arrogant just cos of EPL

Major cock up last Sunday when Fox Sports decided to air the F1 live coverage on Fox Sports 1 instead of the original scheduled on Fox Sports 3. 

Obviously they didn't take into account the almost sure accident in Monaco & the broadcast would stretch beyond the allocated time & will clash with the next program which happens to be live BPL match involving Manchester United. I think they missed about 8-10 minutes of the live football.

Perhaps asstro requested them to show F1 on the main Fox Sports channel coz of the many complaints? Well, after this cock-up for sure Fox gonna tell asstro to subscribe to Fox Sports 2 & 3 in HD, no compromise next time. Good thing the football season ended already

At the moment i am paying almost rm150 per month for movie package and the sport channels and many days there is absolutely nothing to watch bcs everything is being repeated so many times.

What piss me off is there so many good tv series not showing on astro bcs they are showing freaking 10 year old series like Ally Mcbeal, darma & greg etc etc.

Now i got a broucher  in the post some astro plus thing, there have the Gotham series i really been wanting to see now you must pay for these tv series? WTF????

But why must pay some more? Why can they just add it in into one of the channels?? Last time they used to show smallville for free. They are being too greedy, already paying so much....

Guys 1 more questions. Will if I buy the Gotham tv series on vod will it be in HD??? I subscribe to HD, but when I download some of the free series on vod like Silicon Valley & broad walk empire it wasn't in hd.

Not entirely. Some of the content you saw on Astro, they own an exclusive rights for that, which only Astro can broadcast and no other pay TV can broadcast it. If the other pay TV insists, then that pay TV have to deal with Astro, which that pay TV will have to pay higher price to Astro get the exclusive content from Astro.
