Also. I'm looking into upgrading my power cables. You guys think will it improve much more if compare a 4 G AND 8 G cable?. *

Usually how do you guys fix. 2 G into cabin and then split 4 G into the amps.

Also. Does the brand makes the difference or its just a brand. They All the same.

8g to 4g... there are different... 4g to 0g... yes there are difference...

normally i recommend 0g to distributor... 8g to all your component amps.. 4g to your subwoofer amp(if your amp allows that kinda size otherwise use 8g)

brand makes no difference... difference is the material... always go for OFC cables...

Got it. So if I get a audison vs a chap mak brand. Both same gauge there won't be difference?

I just wondering if it is worth the money.

the important thing is the material used to produce the cables...

splice off the robber to check the cores inside...

and one way i like to verify is the weight of both at the same length...

I have long length no brand 0ga if you want.
I use 0ga to dist block then 4ga to all amps.
I find no diff between brandless and branded power cable as long as the thickness is there.
0ga is ordy overkill unless you a spl kaki.

I used to be into i.c.e as well. Was on a student budget. Used mostly second hand stuff. I mixed around with alot of the sifu sifu to get to know more about ice and to hopefully get my hands at their unwanted items. Slowly i found them quitting one by one. So i asked them why are they suddenly quitting after investing so much money and time. Their reply was ice is an addiction, to jump from one quantum to the next involves too much money. I myself also quit.

personally, with the replies so far, i think it's cuz people are just chasing gear and not going for what it was originally intended - Music.

Thank you all si fu, for the advice. I have upgraded my cables to furutech and Phoenix gold. Also vdh hybrid speaker cable and a furutech fuse and terminals.

Now, my morel sounds so much better with good cables. Oh btw, RCA and sub woofer cables were also added.

So I. Running on a 2 in 2 out cross over and it's just fantastic,

After running for one day I find that the speaker behave so much more linear with more power. So it's very true more power is better but must be quality power.

Went to kk lau at Ara damansara to install my ice. Price is very reasonable and the most important thing is the workmanship. That's best in the industry. He will do all those small details that most never do. Eg ml puchong.

Very satisfied with the service. Anyway now you go no use. They shutting down for cny rest 2 weeks. Then open app you need to make an appointment.

I recommend you go look see first. Talk to kk first. Then you decide.

audio is always 90% tuning & installations, 9% equipment and 1% luck...

If you think no tuning is required then prepare bags of cash and round a whole round of emptiness to find actually a well sounding system actually could be so cheap... biggrin.gif biggrin.gif
