No wonder I see my friend ASN3 & ASM have same account number

I have new passbook for ASM ony
Dunno same a/c across all products

this fund ok ma. i target this quite long ad

if I remember correctly, the NAV went to as low rm1.06 when the market crash recently

higest all time?

because I see the total return isn't that high

highest NAV I can remember is around rm1.23, lowest is around rm0.90 (2008 market crash).

now is around rm1.13 , so it's kinda higher side

Changed my ASM to the new passbook today. Not many people there. So quick and easy process.

With the new passbook comes good luck as well. Managed to get 4K ASM.

Correct me if I am wrong. I guess from now on, one cannot buy ASM at PM as their system is not updated. Correct?

I also asked the ASNB staff on when can we buy ASM online. Her reply is we cannot even with the new system! Oh dear!

last time I ask PM, they said System would be ready by end of Feb. but u know PM right. veli slow to upgrade their system

EPF to declare higher dividend?

KUALA LUMPUR: The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) is expected to sustain its high payout ratio by declaring a higher dividend payout for 2014 compared with 6.35% for 2013 and 6.15% for 2012, said a source.

The source said the dividend rate for 2014 is likely to range between 6.4% and 6.7%.

The dividend rate of 6.35% for 2013 was declared on the back of a record gross investment income of RM35 billion, a 12.8% rise from RM31.02 billion in 2012.

If true, this will make my coming Chinese New Year that much better! Ha.

This is 6.5 - 5.25 = 1.15% higher than my expectation. Hopefully the extra bonus is enough to take my family to a good dinner! Last time it was Maggii plus egg.
