i didnt mind the wireless sony if steelseries/razer are better than sony
but i heard that if using steelseries/razer on ps4 ..cannot use mic??

iinm im using iphone earphone to talk to ppl.. hmm.gif

The thing about sony is they don't play quite well with other brand as if they think the world revolve around them. You'll need a Y-splitter to combine both audio and voice to be compatible with ps4. source

When i go into vsd3s forum, the review said it is far better than b3 pro1.

When i go into b3 forum, review said it is better than vsd3s and kc06a.

So i think for conclusion, i cant trust reviewer. I trust my ears more.

If I were you I'd buy either siberia or kraken and buy a splitter. Other headset is Kingston HyperX Cloud, one of the best bang for the buck headset which also wired and within your budget. Wireless headset feels good when it's new but the battery life sucks and you end up having to plugin, again. I have smashed 2 wireless mouse because of stupid battery died/unstable connection during critical moment so yea for me, gtfo wireless.

I prefer the B3 Pro 1 more than VSD3S. I'm not a basshead but i like my EDM to sound like a club. Large and airy. biggrin.gif

P/S As well as compared the KC06A.

Im not a basshead too, but occasionally i like to listen to heavy bass music, just for fun. Thats why im having problem choosing the earphone. Im listen to all type of music, but mostly rock, alternative rock, and pop.

Ive short-listed vsd3s, b3 pro1 and IM50 and end up choosing b3 pro1 due to the good review. Im just worried that my Oneplus One would not be a good source for b3 pro1 thou. However, im planning to get Fiio X1 in few months time.

Dear All,

I was recommended to post here with regards to a search for a new earphone for myself..

Therefore here goes:

Budget: RM 300 and below

- Your rig (mp3 players, amps, sound card etc) - iPHONE
- What type of usage (movies/ gaming/ music etc) - Mostly Music
- File format used in your source (i.e. flac, mp3 etc) - MP3, etc
- Genre of music you listen to (classical, jazz, metal, etc) - all genre range applicable, from R&B to classics to rock
- Headphone/ earphone type (closed, open, circumaural, IEM etc) - I prefer those in-ear types, it does automatic noise cancellation!
- Other requirements (if any) (mic, volume control, 5.1ch, 7.1ch etc) - mic, volume control/skip, usable for iphones will be best. bluetooth ones also acceptable.

TQ SIFUS!

Ps3 biggest flaw is voice chat so no. Bout getting sound to the headphone you have to pull the sound from the tv the easiest way to do. Or get a 3.5mm jack to rca socket like this:

Footstep eh? Ghost doesnt support 7.1 nor does anything before it. Game developers are stunned with this 7.1 scam as they optimized their game to work best with just stereo.

music/videos

mp3 & flac

any genre but mostly instrumental
- Headphone/ earphone type (closed, open, circumaural, IEM etc)
IEM or typical earphones that come with a phone
- Other requirements (if any) (mic, volume control, 5.1ch, 7.1ch etc)
1. if possible, with mic. but sound quality is more important..
2. i prefer bass that's not too heavy.
3. easy to get from reputable sources
4. need a pair that can move me away from normal come-with-phone earphones

Budget: below rm100

I've gone through a couple of pages and most recommend xiaomi's piston 2.1.. I went online and found a couple of brands that are supposedly more recognised like sennheiser(mx 365) and audio technica(ath ck323m) and they are around rm70-90.. here's the link if u guys wanna see.
http://www.lazada.com.my/shop-ce-headphone...i/?price=50-104

Please advise on which brand I should get! if there are other brands, do recommend smile.gif

Hi guys, when I turn up and down the volume knob, there is quite a audible hiss on the left side of ATH-IM 02. It is not present on the right side of the same IEM.

The hiss only happens in the left side only when there is music playing and when I turn the volume knob up and down. If there is no music playing and I turn the volume knob, there is no hiss whatsoever on both sides.

I tried to change the cable with the replacement cable but the result is the same. My ATH-IM 02 is connected to Fiio E10K.

Is this normal?

UPDATE: I just tested the Fiio E10K with my brother's Shure SE215 and can confirm that the situation is the same. There is audible hiss in the left side but not the right side when turning the volume knob on E10K.

Does this fall under "defects in materials and materials" and would I be able to claim warranty through Fiio?

If it's not normal/doesn't present in other E10k, that's definitely a defect. Seek for warranty from your seller/retailer.
