QUOTE so im torn between the two, is the m50x really is that great so much that it's worth to spend the few extra cash on it? but of course other brands headphones recommendation is much appreciated, but im really pinned down to getting the AT headphones though :P Well, you just can't wish for m50x if you refuse to go beyond rm500. The cheapest m50x is rm612 plus postage. Too expensive maybe but you don't buy headphones everyday right and too it'll last quite a long time if handled with care. Personally, I'm quite satisfied with what I'm getting through m40x+e18 combo. Yea I mean combo, not just the headphone so I say you shouldn't be thinking twice about chopping the other leg of yours to get a decent DAC/amp. |

QUOTE(Joch @ Dec 4 2014, 03:36 PM) - Self customized desktop (motherboard - MSI H97 Gaming 3) That picture is Logitech g430. It came with a soundcard dongle to simulate that 7.1. With rm300 limit that what you should be considering at. Fyi it's not really 7.1 but simulated only but yea it gives that surround feeling. - Music > Gaming > Movies - mp3 most time, 7.1 surround movie if headphone supported - prefer bass and treble balanced at the same time - i not sure what is the headphone type so i just put picture ![]() - mic, 7.1 surround if possible, lower than rm300 this is my first time buying headphone, all suggestions are welcome, thank you For non 7.1, take Kingston HyperX Cloud with that massive 53mm driver (speaker) vs 40mm in g430 and around rm300. |

QUOTE(shark7 @ Dec 4 2014, 09:31 PM) Looking for a gaming headset..using for pc/ps4 As far as i know if you put razer or steelseries together with wireless mode then the cost is almost rm400, at least. Too i hvent came across a wireless siberia model yet but maybe you did. There's a wireless razer around that rm400 though. So razer and sony for you. Either is good in their own field, for that amount of budget.Budget around rm350 So far i look around Steelseries siberia v2/v3,razer kraken, sony wireless gold headset If there not much difference i would straight away pick sony wireless Bcause -wireless -8 hrs battery ain't that bad -can use usb and also as 3.5mm So what u guys reccomend pls let me know |

QUOTE(shark7 @ Dec 5 2014, 07:50 PM) i didnt mind the wireless sony if steelseries/razer are better than sony The thing about sony is they don't play quite well with other brand as if they think the world revolve around them. You'll need a Y-splitter to combine both audio and voice to be compatible with ps4. sourcebut i heard that if using steelseries/razer on ps4 ..cannot use mic?? iinm im using iphone earphone to talk to ppl.. |

QUOTE(shark7 @ Dec 5 2014, 11:02 PM) If I were you I'd buy either siberia or kraken and buy a splitter. Other headset is Kingston HyperX Cloud, one of the best bang for the buck headset which also wired and within your budget. Wireless headset feels good when it's new but the battery life sucks and you end up having to plugin, again. I have smashed 2 wireless mouse because of stupid battery died/unstable connection during critical moment so yea for me, gtfo wireless. |

QUOTE(shark7 @ Dec 6 2014, 12:38 PM) Kingston?? Isn't that a company that make thumbdrive? Ps3 biggest flaw is voice chat so no. Bout getting sound to the headphone you have to pull the sound from the tv the easiest way to do. Or get a 3.5mm jack to rca socket like this:Btw i watch the review about this kingston..seems worth it Lot of items included and the price are cheaper than steelseries/razer/sony gold..and iinm it include y splitter in the package? But it is not 7.1..so will i be able to hear footsteps in games like call of duty? Also can i use it for ps3?? ![]() Footstep eh? Ghost doesnt support 7.1 nor does anything before it. Game developers are stunned with this 7.1 scam as they optimized their game to work best with just stereo. This post has been edited by PedangGila: Dec 6 2014, 10:20 PM |

QUOTE(karwaidotnet @ Dec 8 2014, 10:46 AM) What's 'that other headphone for music'? On popular words, they'll try to usher ath-m50x then v moda m100 then 'why dont you try hifiman he-400i' that one will get caught in a never ending world of finding a perfect amp with a decent budget. Well im not entirely kidding about that but those m50x and v moda m100 are physically available for demos and both were backed by better ears than mine. He-400i is rm1800, at least. |

QUOTE(E1 - AKG @ Jan 20 2015, 07:20 PM) Just found this headfi user "When i brought along my E18, the increased clarity of source also highlighted the edgier side of the MSR7....and i began to make sense of some of the earlier feedbacks others had about the slightly "etched" sound of this can" Ha I just bought this without even reading. |

Super bass? Do we have to trust HawaiiBadBoy at head-FI stating JVC SZ2000 as the ultimate bass cannon? Pro700mk2 is in the top ten tho.

QUOTE(starz92 @ Jul 30 2015, 02:57 PM) Budget : +/- RM500 Negatively, I read some audiophiles comments about how ridiculous a gaming headphone sounded. 7.1 simulated and depends on the game, surround like sound may be supported. As far as I know, if being a true sound quality whore, gaming headset is a joke even the Beach or H so you buy this because it's something you like and not because people say this and that. Generally gaming headset has this bass eccentric that will eat pieces out of mid while itself being too boomy.Your rig - Mobile Phones / PS4 - What type of usage : Gaming/Music - Genre of music you listen to : oldies, country, rock...(something soft and soothing) - Headphone/ earphone type : closed (preferably 7.1) I am actually planning to get the Steelseries siberia elite and am looking for any better suggestion given my budget stated above. My friend actually suggested Sony wireless headset which cost around RM300+. Will the wireless feature impact the sound quality? Ok I realised the two below is abit above my budget but is this worth the investment? '-Turtle Beach Elite 800 '-Steelseries H Wireless Thanks. |

QUOTE(Duckies @ Aug 9 2015, 09:57 PM) Hey guys, planning to get a low budget gaming headset with microphone. Main usage is for Dota 2. No special requirement for audio quality. As long as it's decent, clear and no noisy background then I am okay. Budget is about RM 300 only. Any recommendation? The normal Kingston HyperX Cloud is rated 4.5 stars out of 5 by 1600+ buyers at Amazon so it lived up to its name as the best for buck headset. You'll be missing the USB thing so it depends highly on your sound card/chipset. It's just as little as 210+ to 350 at lelong atm.EDIT: Look around and found some good headset but not sure which is the best around that budget. I saw models from Logitech, Asus ROG, Corsair, Turtle Beach and CM. |
