Is there any good toothpaste out there? Makes our teeth less yellow?  laugh.gif

Scaling at the dentist cost a fortune.

Maybe you can try Amway's Glister. Not for whitening but for cleaner teeth. Been using it for awhile now. My teeth noticeably clean during my braces appointment, said the dentist.

And bottom 2nd molar pulled out early this year due to cracked after rct sad.gif Recently, i started to hear/feel clicking sound from jaw when i'm eating. Is this a serious issue? And how can i stop it. Should i consult a dentist or other dental specialist?

You should consult your regular dentist and let him check and assess what may be causing the click.

It can be multifactorial from stress, diet changes, unstable occlusion, grinding habits etc.

Hard to say cheap or expensive. Depends on number of teeth being replaced, material, lab fees and all, difficulty included

metal + porcelain, premolar as support, doing a bridge for one molar

dentist say too small for the gap to perform implant/dentures, so he recommend me do bridges instead

A cantilever Bridge using the molar as a support or the premolar as a support ya?

Its not a good idea to use a premolar as a support and bridge to the back to replace a molar sweat.gif sweat.gif

Unless its using a molar at the back and bridging it forward to replace a premolar

ah alright. So using your molar and bridging to replace a lost premolar.

Do understand that you will be shaving down your molar and fit a bridge and eventually more work on cleaning and maintaining the bridge ya.

that doesnt sound like a good plan for cantilever replacement sweat.gif

You're gonna be placing more stress on the pontic (the replacement tooth) as it placed further back in the mouth.

On the long run you may cause issues with the premolar (the support tooth)

Hi Dr Gigi! notworthy.gif

Which better, laser whitening or light-activated whitening? Will this process thin the tooth?

Also, what whitening brand and how many cycles are recommended? Why?

Thank you in advance for your time!

Hi there,

Highly depends on the quantity frankly, it would need a large quantity of milo drinking at regular intervals to get staining on your teeth.

Hello,

Both work quite similarly. Whitening process doesn't thin your teeth but will make it sensitive for a short period of time.

Whitening brand usually varies from dentists and their comfort brand, generally Beyond, Phillips Zoom & Opalescence gives good results in my experience smile.gif
