Hi everyone, I want to ask a recommendation for a good dental clinic that wouldn't burn my wallet
FYI, I live around KLCC and is looking for something close
All I want for now is some kind of a routine dental health check and scaling/polishing
I'm interested in a clinic named Signature Primecare Dental located inside AvenueK, but I'm open for suggestion if anyone has it nod.gif

No need permit. You can refer the latest MCO SOPs.

For night brushing, is it ok to leave the toothpaste in mouth (ie not gargling)?

This is actually the proper practice.

After brushing, only spit out the excess toothpaste and wipe your mouth. Leaving the toothpaste remnants inside your mouth helps with absorption of the good stuffs into your teeth.

Whitening itself is not permanent and how long it lasts depends on your care and maintenance.

For quick results, you would need to visit a dentist and do in-office whitening where the Dentist does the bleaching for you, immediate results can be seen.

You could add-on for a home whitening kit for your to maintain your whitening at home on your own.

Usually the in home whitening give stable results but it will be slower and can be self maintained.

Back to your needs, typically, I usually suggest in office whitening if your attending some event or photoshoot that you need to look good immediately. Do it about a week before your event.

If you want something that is more consistent albeit slower, take a home kit.

Supplementary to that, you can maintain by using whitening toothpaste once every 2 or 3 days to better maintain the whitening effect.

Hi experts, how does interproximal cavity usually looks like or feels like?

Noticed some weird sensation between my 15 and 16 recently. A sort of sensitivity after flossing.

Brought my dental mirror to check it and saw that there seems to be brown horizontal sort of crack line on the distal of 15 and mesial of 16. The line is horizontal not vertical.

Is this indicates caries or a stress fractures line? Or maybe it has remineralized and stained brown?

Crack line rarely develop horizontally.

Sounds like an early caries developing or maybe its some tartar stuck in between.

Best is to visit a dentist and ask to check. Can even take a bitewing radiograph to assess the interproximal area.
