Well, just tell them that you streamyx account needs to be assigned with public IPV4 address because you can't access your home CCTV.

But.....recently.....TM is requesting customer to use IPV6 instead. However.....MOST EXISTING CCTV is not IPV6 compatible.

Also find out today, after a couple of hours downtime, that I also got assigned to private IP. A call to the service center is in order now.

Ever since I got changed to FastPath from Interleaved last week, my DSL has been up for about 6 days now. Before this every few days it would drop off and reconnect .

Please report back if you ever get it changed back to public IP. (Which is very unlikely now)

Probably TM changed the port too while reconfiguring it to FastPath?

Can anyone give their configuration(the ones inside 192.168.1:1) of their modem? My connection is becoming a sloth.

What kind of sorcery is that? How do u change ur profile?

I have already contacted customer support, and as of now, only a report number has been generated, because at their side they see my account still have public IP when the opposite happens.
Let's see if there is any news in the near future or something.

YouTube throttling on IPV6 is still there right?

Unfortunately, yes, it is still there.
Went to my colleagues houses to enable IPv6 for them (only to discover their CCTV doesn't support IPV6) and tried youtube. 50kb/s on IPV6.
They rather have IPV6 disabled because the throttling is too much. Seriously, with 4Mbps/8Mbps, nobody wanna stuck with 50kb/s throttling on IPV6 at youtube.

I think so too, might be a different port I guess. Previously the connection was rock solid on the 2640B modem, then I switched to Asus DSL-N12U and it started dropping every few days, but now it has been holding up for quite sometime.

Contacted TM and requested for a noise profile change, complained that I was having high ping on online game.

TM is throttling Youtube on IPV6 connection. On IPV4 it is ok.

last time when im on 4mbps package, yup TM does throttle IPV6 for youtube and only able to get full speed at certain odd hours (usually around 12 a.m. to 6 a.m. ). So far i have no problem IPV6 on Unifi package (wonder why they throttle youtube on IPV6 )

Don't be happy so soon. TM will revert you back to private IPv4 later.

Last year, my streamyx was assigned with private IPV4 address 6 TIMES!
Every time it happened, I complained kaw-kaw at TMPoint.
If call 100 or use live chat, sure will get a lot of excuses and other 'solution'.
