QUOTE(GOPI56 @ Jan 19 2017, 08:52 PM) My place also same. I think it has something to with VDSL2 vectoring. The TM contractor told me that this new copper cable can support much higher bandwidth than the old copper cable. QUOTE(Exeunt @ Jan 19 2017, 08:56 PM) checked my adsl stat in router support up to 22MB lah.. good news maybe ? hahaha all hope is not lost i guess

QUOTE(edr1c @ Jan 19 2017, 01:51 PM) i've read speculations saying tm/streamyx will be converted to unifi 10mb lite (optional), need verifications tho i think the unifi lite is referring to the ADSL2+ speed up to 10 mbps? not a fiber. right now if the exchange/cabinet is nearby your location it can hit easily 20 mbps++

I have this odd issue with downloading stuff from Epic Games Launcher. Each time I'm trying to update Unreal Engine SDK, my Streamyx connection would get disconnected after a few minutes of downloading. I will have to reboot my router to get my connection back.
Oddly Steam, EA Origin, GOG Downloader, UPlay and direct downloads from webpages don't cause my connection to die. Is TM killing connections which behave like Torrent downloads? In my case could Epic Games Launcher be using Torrent like features for it's downloads?
EDIT: Happened twice today, had to reboot my router.

QUOTE(GOPI56 @ Jan 21 2017, 11:31 AM) I have enabled both. Both this options improves the stability of the connection. Thanks man. It has been awhile since I touched streamyx after upgrading to ftth. Though ... when we are outskirt/hometown the only option is streamyx Double check, was this by default enabled configuration by TM, or it was enable you?
