I will compile the results together with Unifi data in 1 -2 days time. Then streamyx users can get a better picture on whether it is really worthwhile to switch over to Unifi for the small or big improvement.

Well, I just upgraded from 4mbps Screamyx to unifi VIP5. Download speed do improve slightly, from 410kb/s to now stable at 500-550kb/s.
Used on 10 and 20mbps package in Qatar before, anything > 10mbps you won't really see improvements as you will be limited by servers, like downloading from some file sharing sites, the most they can go is 900-1000kb/s.

Anyone know how to upgrade from 1mbps to 4mbps ? The answer from TM agent is that the port for 4mbps / 8mbps is full . The house is not in rural area but in the middle of Sungai Petani township . Already 3 times apply for upgrade , still same answer

One things I noticed leaping from 1mbps to 4mbps, 1mbps can have full speed when Bittorrent P2P without VPN, while currently 4mbps, Streamyx blocked my Bittorrent P2P capped at less than 1kb/s. WTH man... Lucky previously got one forumer share a free VPN can bypass that. Now I can have full speed of 4mbps download my favourite movies.

Here you go. Download that VPN thing and install on your PC and select server from Japan. That file size is around 50MB if I remember correctly. Read the instruction guide on the website.

I want some clarification regarding Streamyx Broadband 4mbps. Few days ago i just subscribe stremyx broadband and it work fine but the problem is today i receive an email mentioning " Your Credit Limit Amount Has Been Changed from RM 420.00 to RM 840.00 [#U600267181509]‏" and my current charge is RM RM 155.65.

1. Why there is credit limit?

2. Should Streamyx BB is unlimited quota?

3. Does this mean i need to pay monthly as Pay Per Used?
