My case are worst, as Unifi will be implemented soon, now my 4mbps will slow down every now and then.

Super throttle tonight, from 4mbps dropped to 1mbps.
Call 100, get back 3mbps for 5 minutes and down back to 1mbps.

p2p have to see both sides, TM may block it but sometimes is the other end ISP block it. Like when I was in Qatar, p2p can go as low as 0.1mbps for 12-16 hours from evening till morning. And can get full 10mbps from morning till evening.
If normal downloading also experiencing slow speed, it could be due to equipment failure.

So you should know what is happening

Well, if you have call 100 and they reset the port still the same thing, then it will be hardware failure on the port near to your house. Just tell them and they will check on this matter.

Well, I just upgraded from 4mbps Screamyx to unifi VIP5. Download speed do improve slightly, from 410kb/s to now stable at 500-550kb/s.
Used on 10 and 20mbps package in Qatar before, anything > 10mbps you won't really see improvements as you will be limited by servers, like downloading from some file sharing sites, the most they can go is 900-1000kb/s.

Always keep a spare ADSL modem, for my case, I have 1 single network port(bought donkey years ago), 1 from TM and another from D-link.
When shit happens, always bypass the bloody filter and restart the using modem. If still cannot(usually more or less confirm problem from TM's hardware) then change the modem(or skip this if no spare modem). When still cannot, call 100 and tell them you have test all the ways.
My Screamyx's final 2 weeks also suffering problem, get throttled at evening time. Done everything and at the end found that the local port(at the main box) failed due to age.
Now as Unifi are getting more and more coverage area, those old Screamyx hardware will be removed and send back to TM and use for "replacement" to the area that still don't have Unifi. I may be wrong on this
